Cask & Bottle conditioned and keg unpasteurised; Regular
A 4.5% pale ale with spicy, grassy aromas and a taste of grapefruit and apricot. Undercurrent is part pale, part oats and part caramel barley. Her swirls of bold, bready and nutty malt whirl into a concoction of spicy, citrus, floral hops. Mystery lurks in those cascade and palisade hops. Her silky, creamy body will pull you under.

Maybe I had this too cold but it was a bit tasteless and thin, with just a very bitter after-tase. A bit more came through as it warmed up but still a bit thin, especially in the after-taste. Aroma of nutty caramel wit a little, almost rye like spiciness. Some juicyness comes through in the taste but not loads, still thin. Disappointing overall from a super brewery.

Nice floral aroma. Hazy amber color, small white head. Light feeling in the beginning, then medium bitterness, light sweetness underneath. Light body, bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear golden color, huge off white head. Nice aroma of pine and citrus. Taste has resiny fresh herbs, more pine, bitter lemon. Sticky mouthfeel. Delicious.

On tap at Damian Beer & Ale. Light golden colour, short lasting white head, nice fruity aroma, apricots, sweetness. Id expect richer taste, sweet, sour, low on bitterness, but pleasant finish.

Hazy deep golden color with a fine off white head. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Oat, caramel malt, fruity and citric hoppy flavor.

September 16, 2015 - at Old Fountain - handpull cask. With lagerloather. Slightly hazy amber-gold with a lovely creamy beige head. Minimal aroma; based on taste, its simple, mostly spicy/grassy sharp bitterness, with a little tart fruit in the background. Chew, decent body, airy but not all that carbonated, quickish finish - tries to build the bitterness in the linger but doesnt quite make it - still very nice though.

Cask at Browns in Reading. Quite citrusey, bready malt, oats, a hint of spice in the finish. Decent beer.
