COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottle conditioned and keg unpasteurised; Regular
A 4.5% pale ale with spicy, grassy aromas and a taste of grapefruit and apricot. Undercurrent is part pale, part oats and part caramel barley. Her swirls of bold, bready and nutty malt whirl into a concoction of spicy, citrus, floral hops. Mystery lurks in those cascade and palisade hops. Her silky, creamy body will pull you under.

Maybe I had this too cold but it was a bit tasteless and thin, with just a very bitter after-tase. A bit more came through as it warmed up but still a bit thin, especially in the after-taste. Aroma of nutty caramel wit a little, almost rye like spiciness. Some juicyness comes through in the taste but not loads, still thin. Disappointing overall from a super brewery.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2017 Weak aroma of pale malts with hints of lemon and tangerine. Pleasantly crisp and slightly metalic. Very sessionable and refreshing.

On tap at Pint Shop, Oxford. 1/2 pint. Pours a hazy copper orange with a white head. Aroma: biscuity malt, oats, barley, mild caramel, mild stonefruit/citrus notes. Taste: biscuity malt, oats, barley, apricot, citrus, mild earthy flavours. Very mild peach flavour. Pleasant flavour balance. Thin to medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Moderate bitterness. Watery texture. Very easy drinking. Nice beer. Quite unique. Would happily drink this again.

Bottle. Medium pale caramel with a lovely foam subsiding. Scent is medium notes of pale, hopped ale. Taste is quite light, citric, mild, and a bit harsh hops. Finish is consistent. Quite alpha - 50+ IBU. Good.

Cask at Euston Tap, pours a clear orange with some creamy, white head. Nose has orange, yeast, some caramel, malt. Malt, dough, yeast, orange. The oats add some nice body that can lack sometimes. Creamy finish.

Bottle from Oddbins Rosemount. Pours a full hazy copper gold with a thin off-white head. Lots of nice bubbles in the glass. The aromas are really pleasant. Notes of toffee with a light zesty fruitiness of lemon and lime. The taste has light and sweet toffee but the citrus now has a bitter peel edge with a green leafy finish. Nothing overbearing and it's all balanced nicely. The beer feels quite light, nice and refreshing with its sharp carbonation. Everything here screams light and pleasant but the fantastic aromas built it up to deliver more.

Smells really sweet, I think it's honey, but tastes completely different - very bitter. Complex beer that has grown on me. Will have more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
