33 cl bottle split two ways. Hazy golden pour with a frothy off white head. Nose is lemon peel and some grapefruit. Loads of lemon, lemon peel and light grapefruit. Very sweet. As is warms up the bourbon notes shines through. Warm alcohol finish. Weird but good nevertheless.

skrip (230) - New Jersey, USA - AUG 23, 2017
4/23/2014 12oz bottle poured into a Forest & Main tulip. A~ light brown with an orange glow. pretty much no head and no lacing at all. S~ smells exactly like a whiskey sour that was spilt in the grass haha! lemon, dank hops, vanilla, caramel and a bit of booze. T~ follows the nose to a T! more dank, what seems to be american hops here that gives it more of a lemongrass flavor just like in the base beer. nice bourbon presence but not over done. you can tell the barrel didn’t have a heavy hand ha! M~ not very carbonated but you could say thats what they were going for. trying to make it as close to a regular whiskey sour as possible. other than that super smooth and very drinkable. still surprised how well they hide the gravity! O~ now technically this is still a HF colab. all they did was stick the base beer in a barrel and it says it on the bottle! haha! so it definitely demands a review! i seems to be all caught up with bottled colabs. at this point too! its seriously crazy how close they got to a regular whiskey sour, hard to believe this is a beer at points. definitely worth it!

Gerbeer (4013) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 30, 2016
330 ml bottle Pours a clear amber with moderate head. Aromas of dried fruit leaning towards peach, light citrus, and oak. Flavors of lime, fruit compote, sweet malts and pineapple. Whiskey? Don’t detect. But very nice!

Svesse (8777) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - OCT 16, 2016
(Bottle) Cloudy amber colour with brief, foamy off-white head. Fruity, oaky nose with lemon, oak wood, orange, butterscotch, bourbon, a touch of mint and some glue. Fruity, sourish taste with notes of lemon juice, bourbon, oak wood, orange, grapefruit, butterscotch and some warming alcohol in a finish with a light citric bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and refreshing, but more interesting than balanced. Quite nice.
