Bottle - Dark malts and cocoa notes. Jet brown with a rich beige head. Rich chocolate and a nice touch of toffee. There is a nice grainy sweetness that may be the whisky that gives this a very pleasant mellow taste throughout.

(keg) hazy brown colour with a small frothy beige head, rather cola-esque. aroma of heavy peach cobbler and brown sugar, with a light touch of liquorice, some strawberries and caramel. flavour is mostly the same, big peaches, some vanilla and roasted malts, with only a light hint of ethanol, some physalis, more stone fruit, cold coffee and a semi-dry watermelon finish. heavy-bodied with soft carbonation. December 2016 - Bottle share at Leighton’s. As ’Six Degrees North ATC 1.2 Speyside’, a collab with De Ranke. Dark ruby red, opaque, foamy tan head, full lacing. Aroma is red berry, jam tart, some toffee, musty. Not really the vibe I was expecting. Body is light, tingly to spritzy carbonation, a bit frothy. Taste is a mix of light buttery whisky, redcurrant and boiled sweets with a tangy and dry finish. (3.4) CraftBeerNick (2657) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2017
