9 volt, coffee, dark husky grains. Nice and metallic. Awesome. Nice dark brown pour, really nice creamy tan head great lace. Acidic battery flavors mixed with coffee and some dark roasted malts. Thin, smooth carb, but way too thin and acidicly metallic. Kind of fucked up. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 27, 2011
Bomber. Poured deep brown with a dense, creamy tan head. The aroma picked up sweet vanilla and hazelnuts over nutty coffee.. struck me as having a little too much creamer, but it was still quite enjoyable. The flavor found more of the tasty coffee and less of the additives.. light-moderate roast to it.. some tacky, near burnt molasses down there too.. dry roast stuck on the edges.. coffee sourness and more creamer-inspired sweetness on the quick finish. Medium-bodied and dry on the palate.. more sour as it warmed up.. this was an entirely solid, yet unspectacular brew. I’d gladly have another. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - JUL 24, 2011
Draft @ Whole Foods. Pours a deep, dark cola color with reasonable clarity; thin, medium-tan head with light lacing. Rich, roasted coffee, brown sugar, and dried dark fruits. Medium body; moderate CO2; no overt alcohol. Lots of well-roasted coffee, caramelized sugar, and chocolate notes; roastiness serves as the main bittering component, with a light, nondescript hop character; nice balance in the mouth. Long-lasting finish: brown sugar, roasted malts, milk chocolate; lightly sweet. bhensonb (15347) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 7, 2011
Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours ruby brown with a transient light tan head. Strong, strong coffee aroma. There’s so much coffee in it that it suggests chewy bitter. Amps down a bit with time. Simple and tasty. Extreme beer. marcus (10337) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 6, 2011
Bottle from Beer Revolution. Pours black with a thin tan head and a chocolate and treacle aroma. There is a nice chocolate and coffe flavor. A very simple brew but quite tasty.

22 oz. Bottle to snifter. Brown pour with a kahki thin creamy head that dissipates to a collar. Aroma is vibrint coffee (very strong) and roasted malt. Taste is pure coffee that is alittle bitter, but tasty and good malt maybe even a faint coco taste as well. Palate is thin to medium feel with a subtle fizzy feel and finishes dry. This is pretty tasty and the coffee is very noticable. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - JAN 5, 2011
Clear dark brown with a fizzy head. Big coffee aroma and taste with grain and a hint of chile. JaBier (8027) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - AUG 5, 2010
Sample at the brewpub. Clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aroma of Kona coffee, chocolate and roast. Flavor is robust bitter coffee with a bit of chocolate. Not subtle and that’s just fine. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - JUL 23, 2010
Pours dark brown with some ruby tinged edges when held up to the light. The aroma is really inviting with a heavy roasted coffee presence, some nuttiness. The flavor is dry and roasted with lots of coffee and nuts. The body is a bit thin, but very tasty. BrotherGrendel (787) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 18, 2010
Uber fresh draft at Obriens. Dark brown with ruby highltights, minimal head with light lacing, good clarity. Nose is coffee grounds and espresso, Starbucks style. Flavor is pure coffee grounds with a hint if dark chocolate, moderate roast and bitterness, faint grassy hop flavors, finishes lightly sweet and roasty. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation, watery. Super fresh coffee stout reiminiscent of Founders, love the roast and bittering here!
