Soft feel, oxidized saaz major flaws but not severe. Sweet. Bridge beer? Not bad JaBier (7973) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - AUG 5, 2010
Sample at the brewpub. Clear yellow with a medium white head. Aroma of malt and dish soap. Flavor is malty with a good noble hop balance. hayduke (5209) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 1, 2010
On draft at the Brick and Fire Restaurant in Eureka, CA. Came in the pint glass a very clear gold with a small white head and light lacing. The nose is classic pils with some floral hops and caramel malts. Medium body and smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is lightly bitter and so is the finish. Very easy drinking and an excellent rendition of the style. MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 2, 2010
My Bottom Line:
Oscbert (1305) - Lincoln, California, USA - JAN 14, 2010
Clean pils malts and spicy Saaz join to make this Pilsener a balanced and quenching pint.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the misty pale golden.
-The Saaz contribute plenty of herbal bitterness for the style.
-This is not your typical blend of bland and blond for the brewpub entry level brew. Kudos to them!
-The aroma is rather disappointing; hops could be fresher and cereals brighter.
On tap at the brewery restaurant.
