Sampled at UCBC Wolpertinger 2013 - Nice to have some session beers at a beer fest. This one pours clear amber with an off-white head. The aroma is nutty toasty malt, earthy basement must and a bit of bread. It has a light crisp body with some light semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with a bit of watery toasty malt and nuttiness. The finis is a bit mineral heavy. Decent session ale. ryanfolty (2585) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - FEB 12, 2013
February 12, 2013 - on tap at brewpub. Clear reddish brown pour with head and lacing. Malt and hops in aroma and taste, but very mild. seymour (2096) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - FEB 1, 2013
Sampled on tap at the 2nd annual Urban Chestnut Wolpertinger party in a dimple mug. It poured a nice amber colour with lasting white foam and lace. Faint Belgian yeast aromas, more as it warmed. Nice mildly caramelly, malty, fruity focus for a Belgian Singel, it struck me as a slightly phenol-y Scottish Export 80/-. Light body, average carbonation, very dry finish. I could easily drink a lot of this at a sitting. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 30, 2013

Tap @ Six Row. Pours a kind of hazy, dark orange appearance with an off white head. Light caramel, orange fruity, a bit yeasty flavor. Herbal, earthy hoppy, orange citrusy, lightly floral flavor. Ok.
