22 oz. bottle from phaleslu shared with the group (April 2012). Pours a clear dark golden/amber color with a small off white head. The aroma has herbal hops, pine resin, citrus, toasted caramel malt. The flavor has pine resin, herbal hops, citrus, caramel and pale malts. Unfortunately this has more bittering hops and not enough flavoring hops. Medium bodied. Not bad, just wish the flavor was up to the aroma. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - AUG 25, 2013
on tap-tight white head with trailing lace-yellow/gold. A-pine, some lt malt. T-pine hops with some bite, some lt malt with some sweetness. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - AUG 10, 2013
Lots of citrus and pine. Not as big as some double ipa's but still taste some alcohol on the finish. Nice beer. Spiff94 (22) - Glendale, Missouri, USA - JUL 15, 2013
On tap at Schneithorst's Bier Garten in St. Louis. Dark gold pour with a white head. Tones of citrus and pine. Not as fill bodied as many Double IPAs, but high alcohol content is evident in aftertaste.

On tap at the brewpub. Comes a light hazy amber with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus and malt. Taste is grapefruit, lemons, caramel malt, grain, and pine. Enjoyed it. ryanfolty (2545) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - FEB 12, 2013
February 12, 2013 - on tap at brewpub. Clear golden pour with head and lacing. Hops and malt in aroma. Taste was sweet to start but big hit of the hoppy bitterness follows. deyholla (11600) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 10, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a combination grapefruit, light pine and slightly sweet citrus with a light grain backbone. Flavor starts with pineapple that transforms to light citrus with a light grain finish. jcnielsen (3412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 30, 2013
On tap at Six Row on Jan 11th. Pours a golden color with white head. Hoppy, grassy, citrus flavors. Doesn’t quite feel like a Double IPA. ccex (1313) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 22, 2013
22 oz bottle from a big discount liquor store. Pours a slightly haxy orange/amber with decent off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is much heavier on the caramel malts than on the hops, but some grapefruit, orange, and pine are present. Taste is sweet with only a slightly bitter finish. Definitely not a hop bomb and not very boozy. Body is medium with average carbonation for the style. Somewhat disappointing for a double IPA, but not expensive.
