On tap at Six Row on Jan 11th. Pours a black color with tan head. Vanilla, syrup, chocolate flavors. Thick, syrupy beer.

Enjoyed at the brewpub, pours a very dark brown with a red hue in the light, creamy brown head the aroma has a little more chocolate and roast than I was expecting with the vanilla coming through too, the flavor has more chocolate than vanilla and has as touch of dark fruit too, kind of all over the place though.

Bomber thanks to Secret Santa. Thanks! Dark brown with a very assertive large tan head. Uh oh. Aroma of roast, dark fruits, chocolate. The taste is dark fruits, chocolate, bandaid, mild vanilla. Thin bodied, chalky, high carbonation. This is infected and the flavor seems to be stripped out. Sad.

Bottle shared at Guinn’s house. Pours brown, but bottle was so profoundly over-carbonated that it took a few minutes to see the color. It was all off white foam. Flavors are good - chocolate, vanilla is noticeable, some metallic notes as well. Roast barley is present. Decent, but not great beer.

Black pour. Super sweet. Vanilla and creamy. White head. A lot of great tastes going on here. Great beer. Had this on draft at six row brewery as part of a flight.

22oz bomber thanks to strykzone via local swap 5.2. Pours a dark brown color with a small frothy tan head. Aroma of light roasted malt, vanilla, and slight funk. Taste of roasted and caramel malt, ash, a hint of vanilla, and a weird sourness.

Black color, no head. Malty aroma. Taste is malty with a slightly sweet finish with no hint of vanilla. Clean crisp finish. A slightly above average porter.

On tap. A very dark color with a thin beige head. Hardly any vanilla detected in the aroma. An initial taste of vegetables and a hint of dental numbing gel, but not in a bad way. Vanilla flavor disappears entirely after the first few sips. An OK porter with a slight bitter aftertaste. Would not drink again.

Bomber. Black pour that has a bit of red. An uneven beige head. I smell light roasted notes with beans. Vanilla is tasted along with earth. Some hops add a bit of tartness and bitterness. A bit of coffee. Mid glass some persistent sourness pops up. This has a thin feel. The flavor is on the thin side, too. The finish is chocolate vegetables. Not a favorite.

Dark black. No head. I was expecting alot of vanilla, didn’t get much. Ok porter.
