12oz skinny can from Ray's in Tosa. BB 07/2020 date, and a note on the can that this will age well for 3 years makes one think - should've bought two. Very dark brown pour with a tan head. Aroma has chocolate, vanilla and some espresso with a bit of some berry. The espresso shows a bit more down in the glass. Taste starts with espresso, with a solid vanilla presence and some smoothing chocolate, with a bit of caramel and a bit of lactose. Unfortunately the nose does not show what will be coming in the taste. Very smooth, very tasty! The body is medium-to-full, the blend is well done and there is a touch of an alcohol presence. Finishes to the sweet side of bittersweet as the espresso does lose the fight against the vanilla/cocoa. Very nicely done! Would have been interested to have the base brew as the espresso/chocolate balance could be quite good. And ... zero percent chance this is a 'Baltic Porter'. Pure imperial porter; nothing thick salty or dark fruity about this one. 15.1 PorterPounder (8314) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 10, 2017
Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square Liquors - 12 oz skinny boy can. Dark brown pour, light, but long lasting bone colored head. Hint of dates and plums in the aroma. Flavor has just a whisper of bourbon, some rum-soaked raisin bread, a touch of unsweetened baker's chocolate. Thick enough mouthfeel. I like the subtlety of the BBA in this, not overwhelming. drfabulous (8680) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - DEC 8, 2017

12oz slim can from Xroads. Poured a medium to thicker bodied Tootsie Roll under an average sized beige head. Aroma is solid!,fudgey, chocolate cake batter, vanilla extract, light booze. Body is slightly full, average to softer carbonation, finishes dry and woody. Flavor, is similar but drier, less fudgey and more woody. Solid overall. jhamp9 (1986) - Corinth, Texas, USA - NOV 21, 2017
Deep dark brown pour with a dense creamy beige head. Tons of fine lacing. Aroma is coffee with vanilla creamer, chocolate, caramel, roast, and some faint bourbon. Taste is strong bourbon, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla and caramel. Boozy warmth. nearbeer (5636) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 19, 2017
12 oz. 2017 vintage can, bb 07 Nov 2020. Pours pretty close to black with a lasting eight-inch of foam. Nose is cocoa, caramel, coffee and roasted peanut. Flavors of whiskey, vanilla, cocoa, coffee and toffee. Medium-plus body has a bit much carbonation and is a little hot with the whiskey, but not overly so given the 10%. Not bad at present but a little aging would probably help. kaser (6409) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 16, 2016
