UPDATED: JAN 23, 2018 pours a caramel hazel brown with average volume. The aroma is chocolate malt, coffee, some vanilla, a little bit of spice. The flavor is tip toward the Bourbon Barrel aging, even though I don't really pick it up on the aroma. But it seems synthetic, almost like an artificial Bourbon Barrel flavor has been added. It's not bad, but it's not quite what I had hoped for. Voodoo (726) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 12, 2018
Pours a deep, dark brown with a nice creamy tan head which just lingers.......aroma is vanilla, oak, coffee, slight bourbon hint......taste is bourbon heavy, coffee hides in back, vanilla, perfect body for this beer, finishing with oak and slight bitterness. Well done.
