Beans! Beans everywhere! It’s very much in the palate. It comes as a surprise cause there’s not much in the nose. Great beer though. Roasted characters. Swap this one with your morning coffee....or don’t annunz123 (957) - Taunton, Massachusetts, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Chocolate, coffee, and a little metallic funk in the aroma. Rich, sweet flavor with vanilla, coffee, and chocolate. Coffee bitterness, alcohol, and a little grassy hops in the finish. Very good. jgb9348 (6321) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Deep dark brown coloured body with a dense, three centimetre tall brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, oak, alcohol, chocolate, a hint of coffee and a little bit of fruits. Full-bodied; Strong lactic flavours with a lot of cream, a dense chocolate and sweet flavour and a pungent earthy malt note. Aftertaste shows some sweet notes, a lot of alcohol flavours and a robust, slightly bitter finish. Overall, a nice deep and pungent beer with a nice subtle sweetness and a lot of malt depth and bitterness. I sampled this slim twelve ounce can purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 02-April-2013 for US$4.49 sampled at home in Washington on 28-June-2013. suprchunk (2994) - Crestview, Florida, USA - JUN 28, 2013
Very dark brown pour with ruby highlights. Biggish tan head with minimal lacing. Nice aroma of coffee. Smells like a creamy iced coffee. Vanilla. Taste is straight up iced coffee. A bit of chocolate, cream and vanilla. Very nice. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JUN 26, 2013
12oz can from ABC Wesley Chapel. Pours a roasty porter brown color with a fluffy tan head. Nose is roast, vanilla, chocolate, chocolatey coffee, some earth, but mostly coffee and milk with some mild vanilla and chocolate. Flavor is similar: coffee and milk up front with chocolate in the mid followed by some earth, cocoa, and chicory in the finish. Medium in body and nice overall.

It's a very rich beer with plenty of dark malts and coffee beans. The roasted malts are bitter and offers a great end nightcap

This is a powerful beer. I’m glad it came in as small a can as it did as I don’t think I needed anymore. Very alcoholic and the coffee and chocolate come across very strongly as well. The bitter aftertaste is a surprise. Tried in NYC in 2013.
