Aroma is full of malt and coffee, but lacks a good carry and fullness. Appearance is dark brown and thick, but not too thick. Head poured full and a nice copper color. Palate was bitter and full with a hop edge. Has a lasting boozy feel. Very nice to drink, a coffee lovers beer. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - SEP 5, 2013
UPDATED: SEP 11, 2013 A dark brown color pours out of the can that’s a little murky looking. A frothy, thin tan patchy head settles on top. The aroma shows a lot of caramel malt and some buttery-toffee notes. Toasted grains mix in, with a little coffee, but that quickly gets fazed out of the scent. A light fruity plum sneaks in there and at this point I can’t find the coffee at all. The body is thinner and not as rich as I was expecting for such a big brew. The flavors are of semi-sweet baker’s chocolate, roasted coffee grounds, caramel, and finally a little ashy, and dry in the finish. Not bad but it also doesn’t do much for me. Kind of muddled and unexciting. andyhwcinc (1886) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2013
Purchased at a place that sells alcoholic beverages in Chicago, IL; enjoyed during a fantasy football draft on a weeknight which is taking FOREVER. This stuff is pretty awesome though. Appearance is a dark brown with a moderate off white / tan head. Aroma is very beany, which is appropriate, mostly coffee beans as well as a touch of chocolate malt and cocoa. Taste goes down a bit tinny but is overall a nice beverage, definite roasted malt. This tastes a bit tinny, but it’s not really a bad thing. I’m a fan. portableparty (2384) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - SEP 2, 2013
Can from DalzAle! Pours dark brown with a nice tight foamy soapy khaki head that settles to a soapy film and collar. Aroma has roasted malt some tobacco and coffee as well as some chocolate. Taste is bitter roasted coffee malt and coco with good nuttiness and tobacco. Palate is medium and chalky with a dry finish. Really like this! RamyG4 (324) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 30, 2013

I buy this can of beer from a super market that also sell much beer and other liquors. Can is brown like choclate and taste is like chocolate with coffee but I can not taste any beans. I dont understand why they call this 3 beans when there is no beans. This tastes like coffee with chocolate sirup that I buy at starbucks coffee store but it is cold and with bubbles and alcohol. This beer is ok but not amazing, there is too much syrupy chocolate and there is no beans like the name says. I wont buy it again but its not bad.
Can. Pours very dark brown with a solid 2-finger creamy head that lasts and lasts leaving great lacing. Taste is COFFEE. The kind that boils over when you’re reheating it so you add a couple spoonfuls of sugar to hide the burnt taste. But you can’t really hide the burnt taste and that’s okay when in a beer. Finish is brief but solid. Hides the alcohol well. Too much coffee for my taste. ChrisFields (99) - Ashtabula, Ohio, USA - AUG 14, 2013
USA can-Aroma- Sweet with coffee bean and hoppy alcohol.
Appearance- Reddish-brown with a nice 2 finger head that holds well with good lacing.
Taste- Coffee with bitter chocolate and a light hoppy end covers (or compliments?) the alcohol flavor. Good.
Palate- On the thin side and fairly smooth.
Overall- Pretty good "coffee style" beer. durhambeer (2585) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - AUG 13, 2013
Can for almost $5. I was hyped for this to be the first Sixpoint beer that I might really like. Also, blech. Poured a dark brown with a light yellow-tan head. Nose of sweet brown ale (brown sugar, caramel malt) as well as sweet coffee. Added weird hop bitterness on the taste. Not a fan. rajendra82 (1103) - Alpharetta, Georgia, USA - AUG 12, 2013
Deep reddish brown body and two plus finger thick foamy head made this beer look nice in the pint glass. The can it came in was well designed as well. The smell that the beer emitted was a heavenly mix of chocolate, coffee, and hops. I didn’t even need to bring the glass to my nose to smell this. The taste was out of this world, with a perfect balance between sweet chocolate, toffee, dark cherries, and figs; and bitter coffee, hops, and burnt toast flavors. There was hint of lactic sourness in the finish. Very creamy in the mouth at first with and astringent punch at the end. Freaking outstanding introduction to this brewery. jercraigs (10886) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 6, 2013
2013-07-22. Very dark brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of dry alcohol, modest roast and sweeter malt core. 7+ Flavour is quite pleasant, rich dark malty core, light roast throughout. 7+ Medium bodied palate, pleasant carbonation. 3+ Nice, I liked this more than I expected too.
