Tap at Dexters. Burgundy red brown body. Soapy, patchy, off-white head. Brutal aroma, not so enticing. Fuesal woody cherry notes, harsh. Smoother taste than the aroma. Burnt woody cherry notes, somewhat balanced by the soapy citrus backbone. I don’t get much "Belgian", more like Arrogant Bastard. Kind of half ass execution, with a west coast hop bill. This draft brew from a beer festival poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a uncarbonated semi-transparent dark ruby red brown colored body and a good lacing. Draft @ Great Lost Beer. Pours a rich dark brown with hints of ruby along the edges.... good two finger off white head. Aromas are subtle except for the belgian candied sugar... lots of sweetness and a touch of booze coming up to the nose on this one. Pours a dark reddish brown with a medium frothy khaki head. Aroma is spicy, yeast, bread, and citrus. The taste is spicy belgian yeast, citrus, orange rind, and the finish is dry and highly bitter. It's just ok.

On tap @ Bangers and Lace. Pours a near clear brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of light pine hops with a nice light grain hops. Growler shared by Ant. Poured a full foamy super light beige head over a dark brown body. Aroma of big Belgian yeast, sweet sugary chocolate, dark fruit, plum, prune, figs, hints of nutts and dough. The body is slightly chalky overall with a medium mouthfeel and average carbonation. Flavor of dry toast, dry fruits, bad chocolate, yeast and sugar. Growler from Bellmore Beverage. The aroma is caramel, burnt caramel, spicy, bready. The appearance is clear red/brown, off-white head. The flavor is caramel, bread, butter, slightly spicy. The finish is spicy hops, residual sweetness. Medium to medium/thick in body. Pretty good, not good enough to be an Anniversary Ale.
