Poured hazy golden with a big bubbly head. General hop aroma. Nothing of note there. Pretty weak throughout. Disappointing. j12601 (12000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 7, 2011
On cask at the Beech Tree. Pours a clear golden amber with a large white to beige head. Toast, citrus, malt, biscuit. Sweet and smooth. Softly sweet with citrus and malt, earthy at times, lots of toast, light citrus. Nice and toasty, warm earthy malt finish. Soft bitterness on the end. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 11, 2011
A: The pour is a cloudy orange color with a finger of soapy white head.
S: Not a bad nose on this, at least up front. Pretty grassy with some grapefruit peel and a strong herbal note. A hint of tropical fruit (pineapple?), and some mild butter on the back end of the aroma.
T: The flavor is a bit buttery. Some of the same grass and herbal hop notes, but the butter is just omnipresent. If you can get past the diacetyl, there are some nice fruit (citrus and pineapple) flavors to be tasted.
M: Medium in body with a medium to high carbonation.
O: The butter just ruins this beer. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 11, 2010
Blind Tiger. Pours a slightly hazed medium copper amber with a thin head. Aroma is grassy, caramel malts, biscuit, toast, munich, herbal and grass hops, a bit bland- some paper, and light vegetal. Flavor is mixed up, light yeasty, doughy, caramel, toast, grass, herbal an slight spicy hops, nothing is real pronounced- seemed muddled, and mixed up, nothing refined. I have no idea what this was supposed to be. Meh. tgncc (3132) - Bellmore, New York, USA - SEP 8, 2010
Wierd aroma is very bitter, pine, earth. Red/amber appearance, white head. The flavor is overly bitter, no balance. Plus, there is a wierd band-aid taste to this. The finish is pine bitterness, again, the volume is way too high on this. Ok, not great.

Deep amber pour with a thin white head. The nose is a bit odd. A sort of nondescript hoppiness. Light fruit and a little bit of orange. The yeast seems to throw a lot of esters. There is a bit of soft earthy hops and a little bit of pine. Leighton (21296) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 30, 2010
Tap at Rattle n Hum. Underwhelmed here. Pours a copper orange, slightly hazy, with a medium white head. Earthy hop aroma with faint malts. Flavor is seriously bitter, but not in a good way. I would agree with some of the other comments here: abrasive, plastic. Piney, but like sap. It’s drinkable but not terrific. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes bitter with light sweetness. Needs some tweaking. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 8, 2010
Copper pour. White head. Bitter aroma, plastic, tartness. Flavor is awful actually. Bitter, harsh, tart, nasty. malrubius (2901) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - JUN 13, 2010
Draft sample in plastic cup at Superstar Huntington. Light hazy copper with nice off-white head. Mild woody hoppy aroma. Very mild caramel nuts subtle fruit low bitterness and a finish so clean that it almost doesn’t exist. Seems to be lacking flavor in general. I can’t blame my taste buds because it was my first beer taste of the day and it had been over an hour since I had eaten. Not sure why this came up so empty. nimbleprop (8382) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAY 13, 2010
Sampled at Sunset Grill Allston. Pours a hazy amber with a slightly creamy, slightly off white head. Aroma is balanced but leaning on American hops, citrus, floral. Flavor is malty, bready, lightly sweet, flowers, orange rind, citrus. Finish is medium bodied. Nice, drinkable.
