Aroma: Nose is fairly dull, muted hops, light buttery notes, light caramel
Appearance: Pours a hazy amberish color with a head that leaves a good amount of lace
Flavor: The taste is also pretty muted, weak hop notes, metalic flavor, light butter
Palate: The body is light, and the mouthfeel (like the taste) is a bit metalic
Somehow I haven’t rated anything from Sixpoint before. Wow! I can’t believe that. I’ve definitely had a few different Sixpoint beers over the years. Overall, I wasn’t impressed with this one, it’s mediocre.
tap at rattle ’n hum - sprucey hops. caramel malts. a bit astringent in the finish. odd, and not that great. TeamTrappist (832) - jericho, New York, USA - APR 19, 2010
Tap at Blind Tiger. Poured a light copper with a thin head. Nose is light with some hop notes. Light up front with light hop notes. Some caramel and not all that floral Plentyof Malts balanced this out.The malts really carry this. The finish is where i find most of the flavor. it’s long and bitter. adrian910ss (2591) - Doylestown, PA, USA - APR 8, 2010

Draught at Capone’s: Faint aroma of slight diacetyl and slight caramel malt. Poured amber/slight copper in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, tan/off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and not bitter. Tastes of malt, light caramel, light diacetyl, toasting, cereal, and a hint of hops. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Diacetyl, malt, and slight caramel finish. This is an IPA?!?
