This beer was recommended by the store owner and boy was i glad he did. This is a great hoppy beer!
Cask at Rustico, Alexandria VA. Poured a golden color, small very thin bubbly white (like soap foam). Aroma was a bit muted, but notes of bitter hops, touch of yeast notes - bread notes. Flavor was pretty mellow - muted. blipp (9691) - La Mesa, California, USA - JAN 21, 2012
Draft. Pours orange amber with an off white head. Light floral hoppy notes with sweet malts. The flavor is well balanced, with floral hops, light caramel malts, and some light earthy notes. Not bad. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 29, 2011
Served on cask at Beer Run. Pours a hazy amber color with a large creamy offwhite head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral and tropical hops. The taste is bitter earth and resin hops, and pale malts. Medium bodied. cakanator (452) - South Hadley, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 5, 2011
From notes, on tap at Sierra. Pours out a hazy golden color, I would have guessed more of a wheat beer than IPA. Aromas are sharp and bitter. Wild yeasty and bready flavors, certainly bitter, but not sure how to pinpoint this one as a traditional IPA. It’s good, but confused as to what was trying to be shown here.

A hazed weizen-like blonde IPA with a thick off white head. In aroma, a murky and grassy hops, with light catnip notes, Nelson Sauvin. In mouth, a funky floral hops, light cheese notes, a bit wild but nice. On tap at Sunset Grill, Sept. 11 2011. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 19, 2011
Cask at Churchkey thanks to Travlr. Looks like it didn’t condition correctly pouring with soapy, large bubbles but no head. Clear deep amber color. Nose is fresh strawberry with nutty hops and vanilla. Taste is rich, nutty bitter, denser, with vanilla cake. Really nice malt profile. Too bad it didn’t pour with correct carbonation. Would probably be a 3.7 league IPA with correct aesthetics. BeerandBlues2 (13813) - Escondido, California, USA - SEP 18, 2011
Cask at Churchkey. Pours clear amber with a large, frothy white head, medium retention with no lacing. Aroma is heavy citrus and floral hops, light caramel malt, earthy with light fruity esters. Flavor is moderate hops and bitterness, light malt, light fruity esters, earthy and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation, low warmth. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 18, 2011
Cask. Medium beige head, hazy dark amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, spicy, pine, some bread. Taste is moderately sweet, grapefruit/spicy, some pine, bread. Medium body, some resin, light acidity, low carbonation. Travlr (26071) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 18, 2011
Cask at Churchkey. Deep golden color, fluffy white head with good retention. Aroma of pineapple and bitter lemon. Taste is similar. Could be better balanced, but still pretty tasty.
