Bottle. Pours amber with white head. Medium lacing. Aroma of citrus. Don't really smell or taste the pumpkin but it reminds me of a harvest ale.
Light bronze color with a tallish, tight, tan head. Thick lace. Light caramel aromas. Hints of herbal hops, pumpkin and mild spice. Quite dry, at least much more so than the aroma would suggest. Nutty, with a touch of squash, spice and floral undertone. An amber with a couple little twists, that make it slight more interesting. Actually may have poured this one too cold seems to picking up a little as it warms. 11/12

16 oz can from notes. Pours a clear orange amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, lightly toasted, mild pumpkin, citrus and mild pine hops, dry, decent, but no reason to revisit this. Leighton (21496) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 21, 2014
Can at JFK a few years back, picked up from New Beer Distributors. Pours clear copper with a fine, white head. Herbal and piney hops dominate, with lightly sweet, toasty and bready malts, faint tangy citrus fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with bitter earth and leaves, some crackers, toasted malts. Not pleasurable. Perhaps not in optimal condition. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 2, 2014
Reviewed from notes: Pours a nice clear amber color with light white head. Flowery, piney, and citrusy on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied, yet full. Finishes with some nice hop resin. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - MAR 22, 2014

Best by December 2012 on the bottom of the can.
Into a pint glass.
The appearance was a light brown close to tan colored body that gave a beautiful foamy one finger white head and had some nice spotty yet foamy lacing. The body was too hazy for any carbonation to be seen rising.
The smell had some spicy hops up front coming in very strong. There was no pumpkin whatsoever.
The taste was extremely hoppy, yet good, some nice citric fruits came out.
The palate was a medium with some slight sharpness here and there on the tongue. There was a likable dry aftertaste. It was mildly sessionable
Overall, this was a good American Pale Ale.

No spice in clear amber brew. Autumn hops were flavorful. Nice head on average body brew. kidmartinek (5001) - austin, Texas, USA - SEP 20, 2013
The aroma is clean and flat. Hazy amber color. Healthy white head. Funny veggy taste.. malt, sirt, old veggie and bitterness. What kind of beer is this supposed to be? jrodooo5 (1681) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - AUG 29, 2013
Pours quite nice - rustic orange w/ a big frothy head that leaves plenty of lacing. The aroma is much too faint because this beer has very good flavor. I don’t get any pumpkin but more of a quality esb. Reminds me a lot of southern tier harvest. Pretty good! 1FastSTi (3360) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 12, 2013
So, this just showed up on the shelves... unfortunately this is last years stock. This beer tastes like bitter ass pennies. It is pretty awful. I am losing respect for ray?s wine and spirits more and more lately. The can has a best by date of 8 months ago. I bought this beer because it is coming into season ... Oktoberfest is showing up on shelves. Don?t buy this if the bottom of the can shows an expired date! dfinney23 (3366) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 30, 2013
Obviously out of season, which probably didn’t help. Is this really a spice / herb / vegetable, because I get no hint of anything but hops, and not particularly good ones at that. Might try a fresh one in the fall... Might not.
