Aroma of dark roast coffee, slight chocolate and a metallic iron. Pours black with a big offwhite foam. Tastes nice and dark. Notes of coffee, hops and iron. Dark and solid. dnstone (3414) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 4, 2012
Definitively hopped aroma, more IPA -like...dry and piney. Black in color with a thick, lacey tan head. Moderate bodied and full flavored...IPA upfront and roasty burnt/chocolate notes on the back. porterhouse (1580) - Boothbay, Maine, USA - JAN 4, 2012
(Draft @ Track 84) Served in a shaker. Dark brown with a slightly rocky tan head. Chocolate-coffee and fruity aroma. Creamy mouthfeel, slightly prickly. Nice sturdy rings of lacing. Bitter chocolate-coffee flavor. Maverick34 (3239) - New York, USA - JAN 1, 2012
Canned. Pours dark with largish head. Roasty malt aroma, some pine malts as well. Quite good IMO. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 1, 2012
Nice thick stout that had a great head that lingered throughout. Nice aroma of malt and alcohol. Good flavor.

Draught at Ale House. Pours black with a small persistent tan head with good lacing. Smells chocolate and malty. Tastes strong espresso bitter with chocolate. Creamy texture. Heavy active carbonation. Finishes dry. jeff789 (1408) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2011
Black with a nice tan head that leaves good lacing nice retention... Hoppy but in a mildly medicinal way, roasty, not that appealing in the aroma... Flavor of light vanilla and mild roast... Medium bodied... DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 29, 2011
Pounder cans from Smith’s and Wegman’s. Poured dark brownish black with off-tan head. Nose was charred black patent malt, cacao, hops, molasses. Tasted malty, with charred roasted notes, backup hops, and that Sixpoint house flavor that does clash a bit with the malt here. OK, not great. Capa (3295) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - DEC 28, 2011
Dark with a small head. Aroma has light roasted malt, some molasses, plenty of citrus hops. Medium bodies. Flavor is packed full of American hops. Background roasted malts. Good brew but would have liked a more powerful malt profile instead of the hops. pinkzambia (1931) - Boise, Idaho, USA - DEC 22, 2011
Tap: Jet black with a tan head and sticky lacing. Aroma of broccoli when being cooked. It has an interesting zing in the flavor as if the malts are crashing with the hops instead of blending which is ok in this case. It has an intense earthy taste followed by spices like nutmeg.
