Sampled from the can at All Pints North. Pours a clear orange gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and resinous pine with touches of onion and resin backing. Flavor has sweet grains, pine and a bit of onion and grass.

Tap at Muddy Pig with commonshawn in a Belgian snifter glass. Copper and light amber in color with healthy white head. Nose is actually a little soapy with a fruity (apple?) presence. Nothing impressive in the aroma. Taste is a strange combination of sweetness and alcohol mostly resembling a barleywine. A strong hard candy vibe that gives way to a boozy finish. Maybe a mild floral quality mixing with tropical fruit and apple again. Feels like one you would only consume one of...any more than that would be dangerous to your health.

Tap. Golden orange pour with a smaller clingy white head. Boozy, and kind of a DIPA / barleywine cross. Okay.

The Noble Hops, Redfern. Pours scary, angry orange with a pretty pure white head. Fairly sweet, also sweet aroma (honey, caramel) but also some fruitiness (apple) and grain - expecting a barley wine based on this. This is weird. It has some barley wine like characteristics going (especially aroma wise), but its weirdly light bodied. Hides alcohol well. Pleasant medium carbonation. Ultimately though theres not much to get excited about beyond it being a bit odd..

Quite good and enojyable. Not so thick but with good features. Also, was not as watery as other brews from them.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear golden brown with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, malt. Tastes of malt, citrus, light alcohol, floral notes, syrup. Medium body with a dry finish.

Braudog (6582) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - MAY 4, 2016
Draft at County Grill. This is reddish-amber, a standard-looking ale. It drinks with more of a biscuity malt character than Id expected, in addition to an almost-syrupy alcohol-ish warmth. Clean and well made, but didnt really stand out. (#6179, 5/4/2016)

Draft from whole foods Alexandria. Clear pour, smallish head. Malt and citrus with a bite. Ok.

At Grumpys northeast. Light copper color. Balanced malt and hop flavors. Hops taste just a little bit old. Dry malt and lightly bitter hops. Alcohol is very prominent in the aroma and flavor.

Sample @ Northern Lights. Gold pour with a small head. Fairly neutral nose. Flabby junk white bread and some general sugar cereal. Flavor is similar. Some grass. Sugared grain. A bit flabby, oily. Hot boozy finish. Full bodied. Meh.
