Dark brown color, edge head. Aroma of Starbucks. Very light bodied, flavor is of over roasted coffee, just like a Starbucks. More like drinking a cup of coffee than a porter. Leighton (22298) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2010
Tap at Barcade. I had the 2008 vintage. Very decent but it didn’t live up to my expectations. Everything about the beer was a little light. Aroma of slightly roasted malts and mild coffee. Flavor was pleasant, some malty sweetness, tasty notes of chocolate and coffee. Clean with a hint of bitter bite on the finish. Sort of like a Brownstone with some coffee.
