Bright gold translucent color with small white head and nice messy lacing. Aroma is piercing, citrusy and grassy, with slight vinous fruit notes and a little alcohol tingle. Flavor is intensely hoppy, resiny and piney, with a candy sweetness, and a faint earthy, malty finish. Mouthfeel is a bit oily with fairly evident alcohol presence, but still easy to drink. Was $12/4pk which a bit much, but fair considering the abv.

Ive had this one many times, but recently I got it from the source. I didnt realize they didnt do tours at their Brooklyn location, but they were nice enough to still show me around and even gave me a free pack of this and their resin. Aroma is loaded with hops. Tons of bitter notes and floral hops. Lots of pine and a good balanced maltiness. Taste is bitter with sweet fruit. Subtle booziness to this one as well on the back end.

Hazy golden brown, small off-white head. Aroma pine and alcohol. Medium full body, boozy, oily mouthfeel. Some bitterness but fairly sweet. Pine flavors. The resiny flavors are good but a little too much alcohol and not quite in balance.

Skipping its baby brother if you can call it that (Resin) and going straight to 11. The nose is massive with the hop aroma of fruits and pine just grabbing you. The pallet is equally as big and delivers as it promised, a big IPA. The scary thing is how smooth it is and easy it goes down.

Burk från SB. Klar, guldig med gräddigt krämvitt skum. Söt och humlepackad i doften. Nästan lite barley wine-känsla med nötiga och knäckiga inslag. Även granskott och citrus. Något större kropp. Lätt spritig. Apelsinmarmelad, citrus, lite pilsnermalt. Något tunn smakmässigt. Sådär.

On tap at Armakeggon 2016. Pretty much what it says on the label, huge citrus flavours and a big resin finish.

Aroma is citrus and oranges with an apparent sweet malty presence. Slight resin on here as well. Taste is really sweet and malty at first. A lot of sweet fruits as well, like ripe pineapples and sunkissed mangos. I catch some kind of honey sweetness as well. In the end there’s a big alcoholic sting on the tip of the tongue with a really citrusy finish. A tad too boozy to be really top notch, but still tasty and I got what I expected, a kick in the ass.

Canned from Systembolaget Clear golden with a medium head. Resinous and alcoholic in both aroma and flavour. Medium bitterness with to much alcohol.

Burk.

Pours a clear copper-amber, with little by way of head. Aroma is marked by fruit and hops and booze. Flavor is also overly boozy, with some hops and fruit, but hidden under the alcohol. This could be good if it had a lot more balance, but as it is, it’s just too much booze and too little else.

Amber color, tan head. Caramel nose, malty, fruity, grass, harsh hoppy, alcohol, hint of citrus. Sweet taste, caramel, alcohol, resin, bitter finish, hint of grapefruit, way too heavy and boozy. Full body, soft to average carbonation, warming alcohol.
