Black pour, small brown head. Chocolatey aroma. Lots of cocoa. Flavor is like a very thick chocolate milkshake.Quite tasty. DiarmaidBHK (5663) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Draft at fire works. Pours back with a thin khaki head. Big chocolate on the nose. Big chocolate. Nice roasted notes on the tongue. Finishes clean. Very nice. This must have cost a fortune to make. magsinva (1423) - Virginia, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Tap at fireworks - pours a deep brown with a white head. Some lacing on the glass. Aroma is clearly chocolate with spiciness from the alcohol. Taste is smokey-bitter, some caramel. Palate is a bit light, there is a lingering dryness. Overall, quite good! NikkTwist (3305) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 15, 2012
Draft at Khyber Pass. Opaque with a foamy tan head. Predominant taste is definitely the billed cacao husk. Big earthy unsweetened cocoa. Charcoal. Burnt campfire marshmallows. Black truffles (both the fungus and the candy!) Medium full body with a creamy finish. Huge dark flavors for a relatively low ABV stout. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - JUN 21, 2012
On tap at Louisville Beer Store in Louisville, KY. Pours a black body with a finger-width, dense and creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves lots of lacing throughout. Aroma is big cocoa nibs with a bit of a milky and dark chocolate backing, some dark fruity esters, a moderate roast, and a touch of vanilla. Flavor is similar. Lots of chocolate and cocoa nibs up front with a moderate roast, a light vanilla, some dark fruit esters, and a few nuts. Finishes on the sweeter side with a light earthy hopping coming in to help balance along with some roasts leaving a light bitterness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a pretty full, smooth body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid stout. Lots of cocoa nibs with a decent roast and light earthy hop backing. Nothing crazy, but enjoyable.

Serving : draft at Fire Works Leesburg. It pours an opaque black with a nice tan head. The nose is light roasted notes and cocoa powder. Its a full bodied brew with light roasted malt, light cocoa powder, and light, viney hops. The carbonation keeps things light and the finish is lightly bitter and dry. Nice brew. blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 10, 2012
Draft. Pours near black with a beige head. Chocolate and roasted malty aroma with some light sweetness. The aroma has lightly sweet chocolate, light roasted malts, and a light sweetness. Pretty good. dmac (6429) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - APR 29, 2012
Draft at Barcade JC 1st Anniversary party. Poured a dark black body with an average to smaller tight foamy light beige head. Aroma of syrupy chocolate, dark toast, vanilla extract, milk. Full bodied with a syrupy mouthfeel and light to average carbonation and a lingering sweet chocolate flavor. Flavor is a bit beter then the aroma with notes of Tootsie Roll chocolate, dry vanilla candies, this is sweet overall but somehow finishes on the dry side. Good stuff and one of the best Sixpoint beers I’ve had so far. sonnycheeba (6259) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 18, 2012
