From notes. Sixpoint dinner @ Sierra. Not really my cup of tea. Poured out a decent dark hue, dark head as well. Floral and citrus bursting out the nose, some cocoa. Palate is a bit harsh, the cocoa is up front with a bitter citrus finish. Bitter in the sense that it was just harsh, not like a hoppy bitter. Not great, but interesting. italianjohn (3254) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2010
Dark brown pour with a tan head .... sweet/roasted malt aroma .... roasted malty taste with chocolate and a light wheat taste ..... little spice and silky/thick syrupy feel a decent brew Nickls (2607) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAY 3, 2010
(Old BA rate - cask)
Poured with a thin slightly off-white head. Deep brown color. Slight roasted chocolate malt aroma, and overall it was pretty muted in this dept. Rich chocolatey malt (bittersweet) with some degree of wheat flavors. Roasted and dry finish. A bit creamy MF, and even for a cask it really lacked in any noticeable carbonation. Very pleasant and drinkable, and one of the more balanced offerings from Sixpoint. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 22, 2010
Pours dark brown with some head. Arouma of whole wheat bread. Very dry tasting, yeasty mildew notes, but balances well with sweet caramel malts. Some toasted chocolate and citrus notes as well. madmitch76 (25537) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2010
9th October 2008. GABF. Another brief note because of the madness that is GABF first session! Dark brown clear beer. Malty wheat beer with just a hint of chocolate.

Growler from Big Z Beverage. Pours a deep brown with a small ring of white head. Aroma of buttery popcorn and that’s it. Flavor is also intensely buttery popcorn with a burnt, smoky finish. What happened to this beer? Something went wrong...yuck.

Very interesting. The areoma is overwhelmingly chocolate, with a slight spiciness. The appearnace is a deep brown/black. The flavor is chocolate, with a little spiciness. The flavor is chocolate, caramel, spicy. The finish is spicy, nobel hops. Medium mouthfeel. Not much wheat flavor overall. Decent overall. Maverick34 (3303) - New York, USA - OCT 12, 2009
Draft at Waterfront. Poured dark. SOme sweetness. Not a lot of wheat. I could take it or leave it. TeamTrappist (832) - jericho, New York, USA - OCT 10, 2009
Tap at browerij lane. Poured deep copper with a thin head. Kind of nose sweet candy and dishwater? Flavor is nicely confused. Medium mouthful with some rich chocolate and coffee and malts. Really nice bitter and coffee finish. Didn’t detect too much of the wheat. But I noticed a similar backbone to some other sixpoint beers. Definitely worth a try. yobdoog (1888) - Kingston, New York, USA - MAY 11, 2009
Pours a dark cloudy brown with a small fluffy head. Aroma is sweet with some mild spice and banana. Taste is smooth and a bit roasty behind the wheat and mild spice.
