Draft at Barcade. A good, standard stout. Dark brown pour with a strong, creamy beige hear. Very roasted malt aroma: Lots of coffee and milk chocolate. More burnt malts in the flavor, as well as some expresso and brown sugar. More cocoa and coffee, as well as hints of tobacco, in a dry, slightly bitter finish. The color is dark, almost black. Light but nice aroma of roasted malt and caramel. Chocolate and dark caramel flavor, with some roasted malt later, and quite strong bitterness. Well balanced and correctly brewed.
Tap @ Rattle N Hum, NYC. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, milk chocolate and some spicy notes.
