On tap at Baileys Taproom. Colour...very dark brown with a thick tan head. Nose...roasted nuts, hints of brine, dried kelp and coffee. Palate...fairly plush and rather dry with an earthy quality that is reminiscent of loamy soil. The brine is present as is the generally roasty character. I don’t really get much oyster, but perhaps it’s the brine. The finish is dry and has some tangy dark chocolate notes. kokkenrolv (348) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 7, 2015

Draft at Barcade, 8/25. Pours a dark brown black color with a lasting sheet of brown head. Decent lacing as well. Roasted malts on the aroma. Mild salinity comes through as well. More dry/roasty than it is salty. Minimally sweet as well. Medium carbonation and a solid mouthfeel. Solid, drinkable beer. jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - JUL 12, 2015

Thick, slight head. On tap at the wet whistle. Roasted malt, quite dry and bitter finish. Oysters ? Probably not but I don’t know that I could identify them anyway. Truly the perfect beer on a hot summer day. Rangi (671) - NEW ZEALAND - JUL 30, 2014
