Associated Supermarket, Bushwick growler ($10.79): Pours a brownish red with a taupe head. Aroma is slightly burnt malts combined well with fragrant American hops. Rather light and very easy to drink. Hoppiness is moderate. Has some candyish type flavors in there as well. Pretty good amber. italarican (1549) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 29, 2012
On tap at Sweet Afton. Pours a clear reddish gold. Aroma has moderate grainy notes with caramel and some boozy warmth. Flavor is a bit of diacetyl, buttery coating on pine hops and mild caramel malt. Prickly but mild hops presence in the finish. robiannelli (591) - West Deptford, New Jersey, USA - MAY 4, 2012
Growler togo pours reddish amber with a full head. Aromas of some slight pine some toffee malt a bit of grass and some cereal. Flavor is a very slight bitter. Body is medium and finish is abrupt and leaves a tiny bit of sweetness NikkTwist (3253) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 14, 2012
Draft. Cloudy red brown with a head that left lots of lace. A decent dry red ale but not spectacular. Very nice though. Maverick34 (3248) - New York, USA - JAN 11, 2012
Druaght from Oak & Iron in greenpoint bky. Reddish pour, not a ton of head, light hops and malts. It’s as you’d expect a red session to be.

Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of malt, hops, light pine, and caramel. Poured deep orange/brown in color with a large, creamy, dense, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Opaque. Excellent lacing. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of malt, caramel, and a hint of hops. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt, caramel, finish is medium sweet and dry. Dry-hopping is not noticeable. blipp (9374) - La Mesa, California, USA - JAN 3, 2012
Draft. Pours amber gold with an off white head. Floral hoppy aroma with some lightly sweet malty notes. The flavor has floral hops, light earthy notes, crackery malts, and a light sweetness. Pretty good. bmerz (741) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - OCT 8, 2011
Nothing special about the look or aroma. Buttery tast that isn’t pleasant. Light body but results in cotton mouth. Not complex. Yet another example of why Sixpoint is over hyped to the point people think it is good beer. LilBeerDoctor (3997) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 16, 2011
Growler from my local Whole Foods. Pours a murky brown with a thin white head. Aroma of grassy hops, garlicky hops, pot, and caramel malt. Flavor is more malty than the aroma, but solid-malty with grainy malts, caramel malts, and even some nutty malt. Solid stuff, very malty but a good hop presence as well, so overall it is on the hoppier side for an amber. Underrated on this site I think.

Reddish amber with a nice sized head. The aroma is malty with some bread and a touch of pine. The flavor is malty sweet with the hops coming in behind. Pretty well balanced and a nice lasting after taste.
