COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Its been less than a year since we released our four core beers in cans, and were ecstatic to announce a new addition to the flock. This isnt a seasonal release, like the Autumnation of last fall or Diesel, still going round this winter. It isnt our upcoming spring seasonal can, either. Its a never-before-released, big beer in a slim, 12 oz. can with a potent burst of hops and as strong as an ox: Resin. We zeroed in on the botanical structure of the hop cone to get to the essence of this beer. When hops are at their peak maturity, their cores swell up with a sticky, golden, resinous substance that is the flavor you crave from an IPA. WIth an IBU of 103 and ABV of 9.1%, Resin can be loosely described as a double IPA but rarely do Sixpoint beers adhere to any strict style demands.

Not a well balanced Ipa but its still great. Deadly amount of alcohol and even deadly amount of hops. If you like hardcore ipas...then this is your beer.

Pours a brownish orange with average soapy white head and some lacing. aroma is sublte as is common with doubles but notes of hay. tastes buttery, with grainy and nutty malt tones, paired with tangy bitterness. palate is average, a medium body. overall, a solid imperial. its less sweet than your average imperial, but does have its malt

from Bier-Bienne; canned - hazy reddish-orange beer with a chaotic yet persistent foam; solid fruity hoppiness of bitter oranges, peaches and pine needles; full-bodied; some fair malt sweetness, very tasty and with a robust bitterness; earthy and pretty dry; long fruity (raisins and apples) hoppy finish with a lingering bitterness - very nice one

Can, bought @ Kihoskh, Cph. Pours clear amber yellow with a large, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has resin, citrus, grapefruit, very fresh. Medium carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has mild doughy malts, light caramel. Lots of dry and resiny hops, grapefruit, hops oil. Lingering bitter finish.

12 oz. thin can. Pours a clear amber color with a large beige head. The aroma and flavor have a nice resiny, earthy, sticky citrus hop character with dry bready malts and a splash of caramel. The finish has a nice level of bitterness. I give extra points for things I can take on the golf course.

Very light and not to hoppy, but with a great taste. I would buy a 6 pack again! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can, imported in a friends luggage. Beautiful golden hazy pour, head disappears soon. Immense aroma, of orange and citrus pith and resinous pine and slight hint of booze. Tastes immensely bitter with a strong malt backbone that doesnt feel at all sweet like many double IPAs do. Strictly one to take slow and savour though, this one demands respect.

Nice DIPA. Aroma is malt and alcohol to me of bad sinuses. Taste is a very balanced malt/alcohol/hops experience at first, and then the hops and then the hops remain with long-lasting, but not out-of-control bitterness. Booze warmness remains as well. Not a warm weather beer for certain. Very, very tasty.
