Strong flavor with a smooth taste of pine and alcohol. The beer got a rich hue color and the aroma is rock solid. For the true beer drinker

The aroma is very hoppy with pine resin and citrus. There is also quite a but of malt. The appearance is deep gold with an amber hue and a large head for an IIPA. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth and the finish has a slight bitter bite. Overall a solid IIPA. PhatB420 (840) - Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 31, 2013
12oz can into a fresh 16oz mug for cabin 2013. Color is awesome, like a neon glowing orange omitting special forces with the power of something like kryptonite, but with hops as the focus. Sweet, juicy full hops fill the beer, cone hops and pine abound. Freshness omits from the aroma, grass, citurs, pine, and hops. Head is minimal at rising then mellows out and hangs around. Mouthfeel is full of hops, bitter but not too over bearing. There is alos a floral quality in both the aroma and the taste. A fine drinking dipa from sixpoint. very nice. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Very, very nice DIPA, and which is the ultimate in truth in advertising. Surprisingly pale pour. Flavor is hoppy bitter, with a balanced resin-forward profile per its name. I've had more resiny IPAs (El Toro), but this one is by far the most balanced in bringing that aspect to the forefront while still remaining eminently quaffable. Recommended!

Can at Max Burger, Longmeadow, 18/05/13.
Lightly hazed golden amber with a thin off white head which clears to a film. Good lacing ensues.
Nose is caramel, hops, pine, grass, bitter tropical fruit notes, grapefruit.
Taste is caramel malt forward, bitter hops, tropical fruits, light pine.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.
OK DIPA but far from top draw.

Canned. Pours bold golden color with medium head and medium lacing. Smells of pine, floral, tangerine. Bold hop profile but not overpowering tasting like pine, citrus, and balanced malt background for in a sweet and hoppy ending. Great stuff. Tasherrill (10) - - MAY 27, 2013
Great fresh hop taste in an IPA. Beautiful reddish-orange hue, and at 8.99 a 4-pack it'a pretty much a steal

Golden in color with a slight bit of chill haze and with sticky lacing around the glass. Resinous and catty pungent aroma. Medium-bodied, slick, and very drinkable with a lingering finish. Good malt backbone but not overly sweet. Lotís of hop flavor and finishing bitterness which is assertive but not overly astringent. This is a well-balanced IIPA and tasty! From the skinny can right after an Anti-Hero. Pours golden orange and clear with a fluffy two finger head. Big earthy pine and grass aroma and interestingly something that smells almost oaky. Big slick mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Pine bitter dominates but fades into some sweet malt and then back to a very dry bitter pine finish. The malt profile really balances this nicely while letting the hops shine. Very good and accessible DIPA now that we have it in Gainesville...and I can convince people itís just an energy drink from the can ;-) drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - MAY 21, 2013
5/21/13. 12oz can from Grassroots. Barely hazy amber pour with a fluffy khaki head that cuts but laces really well. Soapy, floral hop aromatics with touches of mineral aspects and light caramel. Bitter hop kick in the flavor, more of the malt backbone coming through, more floral and pine aspects, and lingering dryness. Not bad!
