COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s been less than a year since we released our four core beers in cans, and we’re ecstatic to announce a new addition to the flock. This isn’t a seasonal release, like the Autumnation of last fall or Diesel, still going ’round this winter. It isn’t our upcoming spring seasonal can, either. It’s a never-before-released, big beer in a slim, 12 oz. can with a potent burst of hops and as strong as an ox: Resin. We zeroed in on the botanical structure of the hop cone to get to the essence of this beer. When hops are at their peak maturity, their cores swell up with a sticky, golden, resinous substance that is the flavor you crave from an IPA. WIth an IBU of 103 and ABV of 9.1%, Resin can be loosely described as a double IPA — but rarely do Sixpoint beers adhere to any strict style demands.

This is an excellent, high quality IPA. The palate is full and rich, the aroma is full of hops and pine, and the flavor is slightly sweet and nicely bitter. It is similar in character to the Bells Hopslam and much more readily available. This is definitely worth trying if you have the chance.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2018 Light cloudy beer with big bold white head leaving beautiful lacing rings to the glass. Aroma has huge dank hops, resin definitely, but some pineapple or other sweet fruits, citrus fruits as well. Taste has lots of dank hops, pines and resin, grapefruit and some citrus with little tropical sweetness to balance it. Still huge hop bomb. Smooth as hell to drink though, could sip way too many of these do easy.

12-ounce skinny can pours hazy orange-gold with small creamy off-white head and lots of clinging lacing.Aroma: fragrant citrus and tropical fruits, pine. Flavor: juicy mango, honeydew melon, pineapple, blood orange, ruby red grapefruit, guava, passion fruit, lots of pine resins. Mouthfeel: full-bodied, slick, lush; loads of lingering bittersweet goodness. Fantastic!

Pours a bright golden orange with a half inch of foamy white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and light pine. Medium lightly syrupy body. Big sharp hop bite up front with a full mouth feel. Bitterness stays in the mouth. Finishes smooth with no harshness or the throat, just a nice warming sensation that carries over to the aftertaste. Bold flavors. Enjoyable. Reminds me of Lagunitas "The Waldos".

Tap at BeerTemple. Bit hazy golden with big off white head. Dank hops, soft resin but really more dried fruits and some white cheese, strong caramel malts, deep bitter grass, grain husks. Over medium sweet and very bitter. Almost full bodied. Strong and very bitter. Not bad.

Had from Wetherspoon pubs several times. Reminds me of the Bengali, but with a much stronger kick. Goes well with steaks and mixed grills, etc. - tall, thin cans.
