pours golden amber with medium white head and some decent lacing. nose is all pine and citrus hoppiness. flavor is no surpise - serious spruce and citrus (mainly orange) hops, although not overwhelming. there’s definitely a somewhat sweet, malty presence, which helps add balance. finishes with more orange notes along with creamy malt, as well as a hint of bitterness. medium texture; not all that thick, but definitely quite sticky.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20170725) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, resin and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, resin, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had resin, malts and bitterness. A hoppy brew dominated by resin but still balanced. Well done.

On tap at New Seasons in Beaverton, OR. Beautiful hazy orange pour with a one-finger white head. Lovely clear aroma of fruits and resin. Flavor is nicely matched to aroma, but overpowered by an intense booziness. Medium oily mouthfeel and nice bitterness. I would love this if it weren’t so hot. meccahh69lol (225) - New Haven, Connecticut, USA - JUN 9, 2017
This is a fine, drinkable DIPA that lives up its namesake. The aroma is dank and resinous, oozing hop nastiness, and the appearance is a nice, slightly cloudy yellow haze. The taste is sharp, slightly bitter hops with a lingering splooge of Blaisian smoke bombs. It hides it’s 9.1%abv well, goes down like more of a 7%er. Good for banging some Carly Rae Jepsen on repeat while lamenting the lack of good Carly Rae Jepsen t-shirt options for sale online. Maybe we need to make our own?
