Not bad. A light orange pour. Aroma of fruits. Flavor is sweet with a light body and a slight hop finish.

From can its clear sparkling gold with a lasting white head. Aroma is tropical fruit (pineapple juice, pear, mango), gelatin, artificial candy-like (SweeTarts). Medium-light bodied, lightly sweet approach before an overbearing finishing bitterness thats raw, grassy, stark. Dated best by Feb 08, 2017.

Apt name, since the hops are sharp and medicinal, lingering on the palate throughout the beer. Snappy apple with a cereal malt back, mildly sweet laced with a hint of tartness, followed by a strong Euro-hop finish. Drinkable, improving as it warms.

Can pour into taster cup at One Stop Market 30th Anniversary. Appearance is light yellow, light sparkle, thin ring of head. Aroma is subtle, nondescript. Taste is cracker, pilsner malt, tart. Palate is medium bodied with dry, tart finish. Overall, fairly bland and whats there is pretty run of the mill, but pilsener isnt really my style anyway.

Can @ home. Nice golden pilsener basicly. Malts, grains, crisp and refreshing. Easily drinkable.

Draft at Shepherd Park - Pours a clear rich gold, thin by foamy white head with slippery lace. Smells pretty fresh, clean, apples, a hoppy edge. Probably one of the best pilseners Ive had....very well rounded, well balanced taste. A subdued hoppy bite, floral grains, traces of citrus, no skunk, no corn flavor, some ripe apple up in there. Everything I like about the style, nothing I dont.

Can at ShakeShack, Brooklyn - Well hopped, easy pils. A bit too much on the lemon side for me. Body is watery to medium. Finish is dry.

Gold pour with clinging white head. Aroma is light/medium citrus and bread. Flavor is sweet malt start with a large resiny bitter finish. Almost thick. A touch of sweet as well.

No zigs, zags, strange hops or weird adjuncts. Straight up Pilsener makes The Crisp a above average light bodied beer.

Draught and cans over the years, since debut, most recently at the Brooklyn Bowl on 10/7/16.
Clear, pale-golden/flaxen colored body is topped by a fairly dense, white head showing good retention.
Crackers, biscuits, citric hops and lots of spicy, herbal character in the nose with a big peppery finish and light cereal hints as well. Seemingly very nice attenuation, as the nose, other than showing some American hop notes (very light pine) and light cereal notes, shows very strong grainy malts, as well. No alcohol or flaws.
Dry, yet with a good suppleness from the malts, the beer contains no shortage of hops, with herbs, lemon, pepper and even pine and light grapefruit. Bitterness builds up a bit much, perhaps and the light pine seems somewhat out-of-place. No alcohol or flaws, though Ive had more than one can, over the years, which was full of diacetyl. Been a while, though, so I hope theyve got that behind them. Anyways, a good pilsner available in lots of places you wouldnt get craft beer otherwise. Even if theres a bit more resin in most Six Point beers than Id like, its still quite drinkable and thankfully on the dry side.
