Can't believe I haven't rated this already. The tall skinny can makes me feel I've been short-poured. Clear, orange-amber pour, with a very tall off white head. Dusty, lightly candy sweet, tea-like aroma. (How many hyphens can I get into one rating...?) Tannic, citrus, pithy bitterness, sweetness comes and goes. Frothy mouthfeel. Residual tanginess. Hazy, light amber with a large, frothy, off-white head.
Caramel, grain, orange aroma.
Taste is dry caramel malt, orange-peel.....a touch of alcohol bitter and grass.
Really pretty mild for the ABV.....

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a deep gold to light copper with a finger of foam that lingers. Toasted caramel, grain and pine resin. Bitter on the palate, with more pine and some toasted biscuit and toffee. Dry and bitter finish. Almost like an IPA rather than a lager, still enjoyable. kinda like an imperial lager??? strong ipa like hop character of a bit of pine and some alcohol. nice light brown hue to brew with caramel tint in head that is decent in body and color. done (really done) before flavor with some kind of infusion of flavor seemingly kosher ie dirty, sweet and with some substance. lingering finish. slightly hazy amber color with a nice frothy, white head; mild citrusy hop aroma; crisp, citrusy, grassy hop flavor on a grainy, bready malt base

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2018 Pours up a light orange color, with a white foam head. Sweet, berry like aroma, some malts. Smells much better than it tastes. Taste has some citrus, fruit, sweet malt. Medium body. Harsh bitter finish. OK nothing great. freekyp (2533) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - FEB 4, 2018
Fuzzy white head with lots of lace. Clear golden. Piney hop nose. Aggressive bitter finish, but clean. Nice light malt backbone. Some honey in the nose. jgb9348 (6781) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - FEB 2, 2018
Very crisp copper and deep golden coloured body with a thinnish, very fast-dying off-white head. Aroma of crisp grain, some subdued sugars, a touch of biscuits and yeast and ending with a cleanser-like and lightly astringent scent, most likely from the lager-y characteristics. Light-bodied; Grassy and very floral up front with a big hop kick, but not really any bitterness throughout. Some yeast, bread and light biscuity notes come out as well with some mellow sugars and a faint bit of spices and astringent notes near the end. Overall, a light-ish, but still showing proper hop and yeast characteristics, especially for lager. I sampled this twelve ounce tall can purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 19-January-2018 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington across the street on 01-February-2018. dmac (6647) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JAN 27, 2018
12oz slim can. Poured a clear rusty gold with a foamy white head. Aroma us boring, sweet grains, grapes, dough and wet crusts. Flavor is less sweet and more dry grains along with dry citrus. Medium to fuller body with big bubble carbonation. Emeister84 (2723) - Charlottesville, Virginia, USA - JAN 21, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 21, 2018 On tap at Kardinal Hall. Aromas of citrus fruit, grassy. Clear deep gold with a fairly lasting white head. Dry, grassy, grainy, bread crust, lightly citric. Light-medium bodied.
