Golden, smooth, taste of grain and floral fragrance. Light-bodied but multi-dimensional. Slight caramel and sweetness in the middle and a crisp finish.

[keg at Fette Sau, Brooklyn] Yellowish amber pour with a decent white head in the…er…mason jar. Grassy, slightly sweet aroma. Really easy to drink, has a great balance of that floral hop and slightly earthy malt. Some sweetish caramel in there, before the dry finish. Enjoyable, and went very well with the bbq [20112012]

Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 9, 2012
A blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a beany fruity malt with herbal and mineral notes. In mouth, a light mineral and grassy malt, medium bodied, not bad, but that’s it. On tap at Fette Sau, Dec. 30 2011.

Draft at fette sau with Linh. Pours bright yellow with hazy and white lacing. Aroma is wheaty and lemon. Mouthfeel is thin dry with notes of bland, boring malts and grassy pils.

Draught at Fette Sau. Subtle buttery aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is also slightly buttery. Has a good flowery aroma hop note. A bit too buttery, otherwise OK.

draft at Fette Sau, Brooklyn. medium amber pour. caramel & toasted malt aroma. taste was similar, little nutty. to be honest i was really concentrating on the BBQ

Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - MAY 16, 2010
Tap at Fette Sau. Pours a hazed light copper with a thin head. Aroma is earthy, nutty lightly toasted malts, some grass, herbs, and a nutty muddy yeastiness. Flavor is light toffee sweetness with some nuts, grass, earth, some ropey leather hints, light toasted Vienna malts, a slight hint of paper, bitterness is a bit grassy with a yeasty doughiness that blinds any crispness and hurts the mouthfeel. Messy.

On cask at Friday the Firkenteenth at the Grey Lodge Pub. Clear amber with only a slight, cloudy white head. Aroma of toast and yeast. Bready, malty flavor, lightly sweet. Finish is a little thin. Probably wasn’t helped by the cask pour.

On tap at Fette Sau. Pours a clear lightly hazed amber with a thin white head. Caramel and light malt. Light caramel and clean malt. Finishes with a light refreshing bitterness.

draft from Fette Sau. Brownish copper, nice grassy taste. Some malts. Upstaged by the BBQ, but then I was at fette sau of course.
