aroma is initially dead metallic pushing forward to unsweetened bakers cocoa nibs, good roast, light pseudo smoke. hints of raspberry and other framboizen qualities. appearance is cola with beginnings of great head, oxygenated tanned dish soap bubbles that disperse very quickly leaving almost no legs and only central nucleation sans island. flavor is sweetened roast cut with tinge of smoke, fruity tartness brought by more raspberry. cocoa comes next now sweeter then as presented in nose, chilies are last and long lasting at that, wonderful smoke and intermittent hits of burn that just present enough to create salivation. amazing palate sizzles long lasting and lingers long and strong. dreadnord (1012) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Pours thin black with zero head. Looks like coca cola being poured. Nose is chocolate, Maple syrup, molasses and chili. Taste is sweet with a little bitter at the end. The mouthfeel is smooth, light body and a long finish.

Bottled. Poured dark brown in color with no head. Christmas spices and some sharp notes of chili and hints of vegetable in aroma. Taste is a bit similar with that sharpness sticking out in front. Felt a bit light. jookos (7160) - FINLAND - FEB 1, 2013
Bottle. Dark, without much head. Very spicy nose. Vegetable, bell peppers, gingerbread, peppers. Body is lightish. Roasted malts, spices, vegetables. A very spice stout. Interesting, but not worth a sixpack.

Deep dark brown, black in glass, no head. Strong aroma is really spicy, peppery, coco (at least as I know it’s there), almost perfum - like notes, coffee and roasting under this. Soft and round but spices and carbonation add bit sting, medium body, alcohol, sweet, long spicy-perfumed finish. Interesting but close to bit artificial feel in this. Some originality anyway. This beer pours black with no head, and the aroma is strongly chocolate with slight hints of peppers. The taste of this beer is strongly of umami and lightly sweet, but the spice hits you a little after the initial taste. The palate of this beer combines a medium body, a slick yet thick texture, flat carbonation, and a long finish. rarbring (2290) - Linköping, SWEDEN - JAN 26, 2013
Aroma: Smelling of ashes, chipotle, chocolate and smoke.Furseth (2165) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - JAN 23, 2013
Appearance: A black brown colored beer. No head, no lacing but good curtains.
Taste: Tasting cardamom bread, chili, ashes and smoke.
Palate: Low carbonation, a soft texture. A big body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: A peculiar one, more interesting than good.
Note: Bottle 355 ml at a De Klomp tasting. Reviewed 2013-01-26.
Bottle: Clear dark red colour, with almost no head at all. Aroma is spicy, berry, smell like a coca cola with spicynes. Flavor had almost the same nots, coca cola with spicynes, mixed with coffee, and some sugar. Thin body, short finish! Suttree (6541) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 21, 2013
Black, with a loose white head. Smells like chocolate and cinnamon. Chocolate and cinnamon flavor, too. I’m gonna say pralines? Is that an acceptable descriptor?
