aroma is initially dead metallic pushing forward to unsweetened bakers cocoa nibs, good roast, light pseudo smoke. hints of raspberry and other framboizen qualities. appearance is cola with beginnings of great head, oxygenated tanned dish soap bubbles that disperse very quickly leaving almost no legs and only central nucleation sans island. flavor is sweetened roast cut with tinge of smoke, fruity tartness brought by more raspberry. cocoa comes next now sweeter then as presented in nose, chilies are last and long lasting at that, wonderful smoke and intermittent hits of burn that just present enough to create salivation. amazing palate sizzles long lasting and lingers long and strong.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, chocolate, cinnamon, molasses, chili and hint of coffee. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long sweet, chocolate, chili and cinnamon finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2017 On tap @ På kornet, Stavanger. Pours dark brown with very small brown head. Aroma of perfumed soap, herbs, spices, cocoa, chocolate. Very special aroma, however, I am not sure it is pleasant. Taste sweet with a little sour fruitiness wnd umami. Spicy mouth feel with growing chili spiciness, though not becoming overwhelmingly hot. Tap @ Patricks. Black body with a dense beige head. Nice spicy aroma with low roasted dark malt and something in between Christmas spices and chai tea. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, mild roast, dry fruit, moderate bitterness and spicy like aroma (ginger, cinnamon, pepper and chai tea). Fine balanced body and good aftertaste that also ads some warming chili. Pleasant and tasty and rather original.

Bottle from Binny’s pour opaque cola brown with thin effervescent head that quickly dissipates to none. Nose caramel, light chocolate, green chilies, cinnamon, and coco powder. Taste initially some cinnamon and chocolate, then the chilies. Only mild heat from then chilies. Spice and chocolate in the finish. Thick dark brown, no real head. Nose is a clingy peppery spice and light nutty choc. Initial taste is a fairly coppery bitter before a big salty spice. Carbonation is soft and mouthfeel is keen spicy pepper. Finishes a nice cough of sweetness but lingers brave and spicy.
