COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Brown Ale has a touch of nuttiness provided by our good friends Mr. and Mrs. Victory and Munich Malt. The addition of Northern Brewer, Cascade, and Willamette hops smooth this beer out to create an incredibly drinkable Brown Ale.

Bottle. Pours nice, clear brown. Aroma is toasted malts, slight nuttiness, caramel, pale chocolate, and faint roast. Flavor is a well done malt forward brown with nice complexity that matches the nose. Medium body.

@ SBWF 2015: Små små kolatoner, något för tunn i smaken - ok men inget mer.

Sample at SBWF 2015. Hazy brown body with a low head. Dough, some fruit, nuts. Finishes fast.

HuskerTan (2396) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - AUG 16, 2015
Bottle. A- Blood, iron, watery, dough, malty. A- Rich mahogany color, clear liquid, tan head. T- Dough, watery, malty, weak. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- This one smelled like a ball of dough that someone was baking then sliced their finger and bled into the batter. Besides this it felt like an all around run of the mill brown. Pretty generic.

Draught. This is a nice sweet brown with great malt sweetness and some light hopping.

Very little aroma; some chocolate malt balls. Watery, malt chocolate malt flavor. Dies quickly. Almost no aftertaste except some artificial sugar. Very average.

On tap at a bar. Looked a lttle cloudy to my eye. Carbonation was on the low side. A brown brown. Not too bitter. I'm not sure if the cloudiness was the beer or the bar. I'd like to try it somewhere else ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Itzjerm (3114) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - FEB 8, 2015
A very average brown ale. It has a bit of nut taste to it but in general it is just well. Average. Thin fading head. Nice nut aroma. Okay on tongue for ABV, sweet. Not bad solid average.

12 ounce bottle purchased at Archer Liquors by Midway, Chicago, IL 1/25/15 Not bad.

3.3
maekchu (4054) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JAN 7, 2015
Bottle from Sake Taniguchi (World Beer Market). Thin roast malt nose, light prunes, brown sugar, and some tobacco. Brown/amber color. Mild roasty initial, light fruity mid, with raisins and cherries, and small toffee notes. Thin body. Nice nose, indeed. Flavors are all gentle and unexciting (... it is THAT style).
