The bottle got me extremely hyped for this beer as I thought it looked real cool. Opaque orange. More malt in this beer than anything else. Too sweet for a IIPA, but not bad by any means.

If you find it simply too hard to stick to a workout plan, why not try a full-body workout program? Yes you will still have to work hard but in less time. Curious? Then read on right here. Building muscles is all about spending hours at the gym, right? The only true way to build a chiseled, muscular physique is hours upon hours of slaving away over rusty iron, day after day, year after year. Well, maybe not.

Can 355ml @ home
Pours hazy deep golden/amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, alcohol, orange and hint of pine. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, orange, citrus, piney and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

From Apr 2007 This one pours from 22oz waxed cap bottle a clear amber gold with a large head of foam that shrank slowly leaving a ring around the glass with good lacing. The smell is dominated by sweet caramel malt but has a bit of grapefruit in the background. The taste on first is big on the caramel malt that I mentioned in the smell. I'm also getting a bit of dark fruit...mostly plum. Further sips in and some grain begins to show up along with some hop bitterness, actually more of a pungency, that makes up most of the finish. There *seems* to be an almost empty spot between the caramel malt and the hop finish, other than some graininess, and *that* comes across to me as a bit watery. The alcohol is hidden pretty well so the only thing I consider negative is that darn empty spot and it *does* affect the overall taste experience for me... Bottom line: I'm glad I tried this DIPA but it's not one that I'd seek out again. Unless the flavours became more consistent.

Thanks Ripa! Clear golden color with small head. Aroma is hops, bit fruity. Flavor is hops, bitter, malt, some alcohol.

12floz can, 03.03.2017 that I think is BBD on the bottom, paid the sale price $5 for a four-pack, poured this one into a pint glass. Appears a cloudy yellow, light-orange color with a thin layer of off-white head. Smells like over ripe tropical fruits, in particular passion fruit. More of the same tasted as it flourishes with a sweet juiciness, but finishes with a piney bitterness. A heavy IPA that does have ample malt support lend additional notes of honey. I could go for this again, and might try in the future when fresher.

Canned, 355 ml from State Liquor Store in St George UT. Pours cloudy dark orange with white head. Hoppy, pine, citrus, some ripe fruit, peach, caramel, quite sweet with harsh bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not my favorite type of IIPA.

RedSox2004 (2000) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - AUG 29, 2017
Hazy golden orange with a two-finger fluffy white head that leaves a solid film and decent lace. Aromas of resinous pine, syrupy sweetness, dank and caramel malt. Chewy citrus on the palate, rich caramel, dank, and some cardboard. Full body, medium carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, and a really bland finish.

Johnstledger8 (1409) - Dublin, IRELAND - AUG 22, 2017
Can. Pours a slightly hazy amber orange with a quickly fading off white bubbly head. Aroma is of grapefruit, melon, pear, orange, floral. Taste is of orange, grapefruit, grassy, citrus, butterscotch. Oily mouthfeel, soft to medium carbonation.
