Released april 2 in Sweden on Systembolaget. Nice looking can. Clear, brown, almoust black liquid with a brownbeige head that dissapears quickly with no trace. Strange, original smell! Fruity, hoppy, oak, grape, vanilla and wine...
Taste of grapes an sweet malt, coffee an chocolate. I really can’t find the "stout" here - But it’s good! It´s easy to drink, refreshing and tasty - I find myself longing for more! ekstedt (6929) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 2, 2013
Can (33 cl) from Systembolaget. Black with beige head. Caramelly, chocolatey and salty ash tray aromas with some wooden notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Semi sweet with some salty bitterness. vyvvy (6560) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 29, 2013
Pours very dark brown with a deep tan head that leaves pretty quickly. The aroma has a bit of oak, smooth toast, red grapes/wine, licorice, oak and mild vanilla. There is a nice melding to all of the aspects. Full smooth body with lots of gentle flowing carbonation. The flavor starts with a delightful blend of semi-sweet grapes and roasty malt. Then anise joins in well along with nice woody grainy oak. The finish has some roasty bitterness, grapes, char and traces of coffee. Really well done. I’m liking this series a lot thus far. Can - Black with a tan head. Coffee, roasted malt and plain chocolate in the aroma. Roasted and chocolatey taste with some fruity hints and notes of coffee and chocolate covered liquorice. Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Can. Poured a black/brown with tan head. Aroma was roasty, subdued coffee and cocoa and slight vinious notes. Taste was bold roasted malts, minor cocoa, with finishing swirls of dark fruits and tannic/viniousness. Not bad but finished quite thin for me.

Pours black with tan head. Aroma is mostly heavy dark malt and fruit...tastes similar and finishes almost like a red wine. Pretty differenent and good. gyllenbock (9328) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 22, 2013
Sample at a tasting at Systembolaget, March 2013.
Black with a tan head. Aroma of fruit, roasted malt, some wood and chocolate. The same in the taste. I liked the creamy mouth feel in this one.

Pour is a black with a nice sized tan head. Aroma is a nice roasted malt with some bitter chocolate. Flavor is about the same. A nice roasted malt mouthfeel with a little coffee and chocolate left on the tounge. I don’t really get any of the oak or grape juice but this is still a pleasant stout. mcrae19 (59) - - MAR 16, 2013
12 oz. can. Served in a snifter. Pours almost black, the color of motor oil. Thick, creamy head. Aromas of coffee and roasted malt, and the slight sweetness of the malbec grapes. Flavor of dark chocolate and oak –yet, surprisingly, almost no hint whatsoever of grapes. An enjoyable stout but not one I’d seek out amongst the sea of others. onceblind (10057) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Pitch black with a thin beige head. Deep aroma of sweet roastiness and bittersweet chocolate. Flavor was pretty similar, and delightfully sweet. Initially there is some roasted black malt, with a touch of astringency, but then the sweet creamy chocolaty nougat tones come in, not necessarily cancelling out the roastiness but complimenting it...kinda like grilled chocolate, in a way. Has depth and a lasting finish. Very charming.
