Surprised I’m the first to rate this. A subdued, well balanced IPA. Really, superb. Not a hop head’s favorite, but e-z drinking. dhunter151 (590) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - FEB 8, 2015
22oz bottle. Pours amber with a white head. Pine, dank, strong bitterness that lingers.

Bomber at home, local series #24. Pours copper, lacy head. Aroma is piney hops, caramel malts, floral and green. Taste is green pine, light citrus, mildly bitter with a strong malt profile adding caramel sweetness and taming this down quite a bit. Almost too tame for IPA status, more of a malty pale. Palate is medium body, medium carbonation. Enjoyable, but was expecting more of a focus on hops. Overwhelmed by malts. bubbleflubber (2226) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - FEB 28, 2014
On draft at the Isis restaurant, this pours amber with a large ice cream head that retains well, leaving whipped lacing. The nose is light and floral. Flavors of citrus and floral hops kept in check. Lightly bitter finish with a super quaffable medium body and smooth mouthfeel. Well-balanced and complex for days, but so easy to drink. Excellent. maltdog (626) - New Mexico, USA - FEB 6, 2014
Old penny color, firm khaki head. Fantastic lacing, among the finest I’ve ever seen. Dank and floral "green" aroma, nutty malt, salty, chardonnay, wet wool. Fruity flavor and toasty Munich malt with leafy, lemony hops. Citric aftertaste. Hop flavor and bitterness is quite mild. Thin palate. Pleasant beer but far too tame to be called IPA... an American amber at best.

Bottle. The look is clear, amber colored, and has an off white head. The smell is hoppy, piney, resin, fruity, and decent. The taste is a deeper bitterness, fruity, piney, and alcohol. jkwalking05 (4735) - Arlington, Texas, USA - OCT 26, 2013
22oz bomber. Amber in color with an average sized off-white head. Aroma is of bubble gum, Sprite, orange, caramel and mango. Taste is of caramel, mandarin orange, and faint bubble gum. Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 22, 2013
Bottle. Pours mostly clear dark amber with splashy white lace. Smell is grassy/earthy hops, some citrus and pine. Sweet malty. Taste is sweet sugary malt, mild pine, citrus hops. Nice but a tame fresh hop. TheJestersBeer (2430) - SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2013
Draught @ Star Bar, Denver.
(Unsure if this is the right entry to place my rating, but it seems to be the latest incarnation of this beer.)
Pours a deep amber, with a white head.
Hoppy, malty aroma, caramel, apricot, spruce.
Off-dry, medium bodied, mid to high bitterness, balanced CO2.
Hoppy, resiny taste, caramel, apricot, orange peel, grapefruit, toffee.
Highly enjoyable. (2013-10-08) brokephibroke (315) - Mead, Colorado, USA - OCT 2, 2013
Bomber. Pours a dark red/copper with a small white head. Strong Pine and resin aroma. Balance up front, more malt than hops. But the bitterness lingers as the hops kick in. Really enjoy the mouth feel of this one, very coating and thick. Points lost for the bold hop flavor to match the wonderful aroma and palate.
