It’s Old Man Bitter

A mix of citrus and pine that will remind you of the time you went on a vision quest with your Native American cousin and you woke up in a pine grove full of grapefruit trees.

An American-style India Pale Ale with a deep golden-orange color. Bitter and hoppy, with a surprisingly smooth finish.

Modus Hoperandi, an IPA sitting at 6.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.

Can. Pours a dark orange, thick off white head, about two fingers. Nose has strong ester and hop aromas; a crisp smell. Taste is mostly sweet fruit, a little earthy, with a nice hop bite. Stays with you for a little bit, the hop kick is nice. Thick mouthfeel. A nice, strong IPA.

Aroma reminds me like beef eaters gin. Very light in color. Taste has a slight malt forward followed by the bitter hops. Very easy drinking.

Tap @ Radisson (Tucson): Clear copper color with a small white head. Wonderful hop aroma of juniper and pine needles. Full hop flavor including grapefruit rind. Great all around IPA because it’s not just bitter in your face, but includes great flavors as well.

Pours golden from the can. Strong bitterness meshes well with the floral and pine aroma. Very good IPA from a can.
