Its Old Man Bitter

A mix of citrus and pine that will remind you of the time you went on a vision quest with your Native American cousin and you woke up in a pine grove full of grapefruit trees.

An American-style India Pale Ale with a deep golden-orange color. Bitter and hoppy, with a surprisingly smooth finish.

Modus Hoperandi, an IPA sitting at 6.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.

Can @ BAJT on January 14. Pours hazy apricot with a creamy white head that leaves lots of trace on the glass while dissipating. smell is malty sweet with peaches, pine, resin, grass and gooseberries. Taste is malty sweet and bitter with wood, pine, grapefruit and unripe peaches. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky and oily. Finish is sweet, bitter and fruity. Very refreshing.

Beautiful aroma. Great hop/body balance. Bitterness sits on the toungue for just the right amount of time. This may be a perfect beer. How is that possible, it came in a can?

Can courtesy of scray24, poured into a pint glass. Brownish color with a lacy off-white head. Aroma of grass clippings, lychee, and bread, heavy on the malt overall. Flavor is similar, malt-forward especially with crystal and caramel, and a mild fruitiness. Hops? Please?

12 oz. can from Appalachian Vitner, Asheville. Poured amber with sheets of lacing. Sweet nose, light citrus and grass present. Flavor is of sweet malt and standard citrus profile. Bitter finish, but not tongue stripping. Smooth and sessionable. Nothing sticks out about this beer, just well done overall. A solid canned IPA.

A enjoyable American style IPA. Moderately hoppy and a hint of grapefuit in the finish. Dont let the can scare you off, its a worthy IPA!

Tastes like drinking one giant hop. Basicaly undrinkable. I honestly gagged after each sip. A beer should have taste. Overloading with hops is not equal to taste. Avoid at all costs.

Pours dark copper color with a thin beige head that diminishes quickly. Piney hop aroma and an overwhelming hop bitterness up front that cancels out everything else in the beer. Finishes dry.
