Tastes like drinking one giant hop. Basicaly undrinkable. I honestly gagged after each sip. A beer should have taste. Overloading with hops is not equal to taste. Avoid at all costs. Errl (2442) - Plano, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2011
Color is darker orange, With small white head, The nose is Pine and hops, Taste is bitter with hints of citrus and Hops, Palate is grapefruit and hops..This is a super Solid IPA that keeps me coming back for more. Pershing (566) - Garland, Texas, USA - DEC 23, 2011
Pours dark copper color with a thin beige head that diminishes quickly. Piney hop aroma and an overwhelming hop bitterness up front that cancels out everything else in the beer. Finishes dry. Newk (299) - - DEC 22, 2011
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2012 poured into a pint glass from can. Pours a dark orange color with a small head.
Very resiny aromas along with hops, christmas spices and citrus aromas.
medium bodied with a nice feel. There is a very resiny finish with some spices as well. The flavors are slightly disjointed a bit.
a very solid hoppy beer. On the fresher side, but doesn’t do anything that is amazing. Mezcalmannen (395) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 14, 2011
Pours a hazy copper colour, head is modest to medium and off-white. Aroma is fruity and of alcohol. Taste is a predictable bitter, however balanced out nicely by the malts. Texture is thinner than expected. (Can)

Can into a tulip. Pours a deep dark-red orange, with a tan off white head leaving little lacing. A fantastic piney resin smacks you in the face with a slight citrus note at the end. Taste is a little too bitter up front, followed by a sweet middle and dry finish. Overall a good IPA. doppelthat (47) - Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 12, 2011
Poured from a 12oz can into a pint glass. The aroma is of great citrusy and piney hops. It pours a orangey gold body with a thick sticky off white head that leaves great lacing. It tastesmuch like the nose would suggest, citrusy bitter with a nice bit of sweetness in the body to cut into the hops. Moderatley carbonated and easy drinking, an IPA that you could drink anytime of the year. wlajwl (6884) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - DEC 9, 2011
Aroma is an equal mix of pine and citrus. The flavor is similar to the aroma along with grapefruit and a bit of orange and leads into a bitter finish. A straightforward ale that’s doesn’t have any big bells and whistles, just a very good IPA. mfaltas (1) - Stittsville, CANADA - DEC 3, 2011 does not count
This Beer is fantastic! It’s opened my eyes, very strong hopiness. I totally love it. I hope that I can find something similar in Ottawa. ccex (1327) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 30, 2011
My favorite canned IPA. As the name implies, this one has a strong hop aroma with a bit of citrus. Pours a normal yellow/amber. Slightly bitter taste with something else (slight malts?) at the back of the throat. Nothing too outrageous, but nothing negative at all. I enjoyed the more on the second try than the first.
