12 oz can best by 01/09/11, I much prefer when IPas have canned on dates.
It pours a deep caramel amber color with a foamy and creamy off white head that seems to stick forever.
The smell is good, but not spectacular. It has a lot of tropical fruit notes along with some herbal, grassy bitterness. It has a moderate sweet smell.
The taste is also good but not super amazing. It is pretty watery for the style. But it does have a nice hop flavor and a decent hop bitterness. The hops are perhaps a bit too grassy and vegetal though, the tropical flavor isn’t carried over. There is some pineyness but it seems off. It doesn’t seem to have a proper malt bill as ti ends up tasting like hoppy water.
The mouthfeel is way to under carbonated and watery for the style.
It is middle of the road for IPAs.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2013 2011-03-08. 7/3/7/4/14/ 3.5. Bottle. Hazy amber orange colour with medium white head. Fruity nose. A mix of citrus hops and yeasty esters. Dried apricots, lemon, slightly herbal, reminiscent of pizza. Oregano? Creamy malt aroma with some sweetness.
Nice full flavor with soft seet malt, dried fruits and citrus hops. Assertive finish with grapefruit sourness.
Very nice beer, but a bit too ’old school’ for my taste.
Update 2013-03-06. Can BB 12 Dec 13. This beer speaks of quality ingredients. The description is spot on. Pine and grapefruit wit a hint of dankness. Full bodied and highly drinkable.

Can. Pours hazy orange, thin off-white head, spotty lacing, to good. Nose is mandarin orange, grapefruit, metal, a bit grapefruit-preserve or grapefruit-syrup smelling. Flavours of sweet mandarin orange, grapefruit syrup, nice light pine notes, solid bitterness, spicy finish. An alright IPA in a style I like, could be just a touch drier. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 5, 2011

Deep golden colour with small white head.
Fruity tea-like hoppy aroma. Quite delicious.
Flavour is rather mildly hopped. Fruit tea like. Some bitterness.
Very drinkable IPA. Some staying bitterness in aftertaste.
Bottle shared with esp0r.
Amber red, tiny white head with a small amount of bubbles. Aroma of grapefruit and some grassy tones. Fruity taste with caramel malt, grapefruit and honey. Full body, with a nice bitter aftertaste that last for a long time. And what a cool label :) rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2011
Clear charneol colour with rich hop-induced foam. Flowery citric nose along with grapefruit. Sweet black tea in flavour at first with a solid malty background in nice balance but being this an American IPA it gets to gentle for my liking. Pretty solid bitterness and getting dry and slight salty towards the end. OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 2, 2011
12 fl oz bottle from Systembolaget. A low and creamy blond top, over a near-clear ruby-shaded, amber body. Aroma is a nice mix of caramelly malts and fruity hops. Taste is sweet caramel malts, with a certain harshness to it. Distinct bitterness. Lemon-fruity and resinous hop flavor. Some sour tones underneath. Light astringent mouthfeel. Light to medium full. Oily/resinous hop finish.
