It’s Old Man Bitter

A mix of citrus and pine that will remind you of the time you went on a vision quest with your Native American cousin and you woke up in a pine grove full of grapefruit trees.

An American-style India Pale Ale with a deep golden-orange color. Bitter and hoppy, with a surprisingly smooth finish.

Modus Hoperandi, an IPA sitting at 6.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.

12oz Can. The pour was a clear copper orange with an average (1-2 finger) off white bubbly head that reduced down to a thin puddled film and small collar with excellent sticky sheets of lacing. The aroma was of a light biscuit malt, pine hops and a soapy yeast with notes of caramel, toffee, citrus (grapefruit) and a light tropical fruitiness (pineapple I believe). The taste was lightly malty sweet with a hint of caramel and a mild fruitiness from the start, becoming nice and hoppy with dose of citrus, a hint of toffee and a bitter citrus peel ending. The flavor lasted for a good long time following the swallow, with a slightly sweet bitter hoppy taste that was left to linger for a while longer. Mouthfeel was a few steps above light in body with an exceptionally dry texture and a carbonation that was a little more than mild. Overall this was a decent enough IPA with a good strong bitterness along with a touch of fruit and mild sweetness, making this a nice and easy to drink brew...

Floral piney hops. Grapefruit/orange. Centennial hops dominate. Almost amber in color this beer has a little more caramel flavor than i prefer but still enjoyable.

Hazy deep gold with tall frothy head. Very attractive! Pine and caramel malt on the nose. Taste - piney, slight citrus and slight floral notes. Balanced with a sturdy biscuity malt base. Very nice classic IPA flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice orange with a hazy head, smells of pine and oranges, the blast of hops is not nearly as aggressive as the smell would lead one to believe, very drinkable
