COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This English Special Bitter is our “Special Ale.” Special because it is one of only a handful of canned microbrews in the nation. Special because the Galena hops and pale ale malts create a crisp first sip, a hoppy tongue, and a malty sweet finish. Though “bitter” is part of the name, “better” would be a more accurate term. Fresh and lively, this canned beer suits the needs of any outdoor enthusiast. Like it says on the can: Fish, Luau, Golf, Raft, Toboggan. Ska can!

Boks 330ml delt med Rune på Cafe Fiasco 11 Des 15.Mørk amber. Lett uklar. Filmskum. Spotlacing. Aroma av mørke plommer. Smaken mørk aprikos. Litt tungdrikkelig.

Pours brown/red with a small white head. Aroma is sweet toffee. Smooth on the palate but it’s a bit sickly sweet to be honest, this brewery has so much better.

Can at home. Unfortunately, I was only able to record numerical rating during this visit.

Can from the brewery. Tastes like grapefruit hops, caramel malt, some dry pine. Light/medium body and carbonation.

Not one of the only craft beer cans anymore! This is still a very good esb in a can. No off tastes and just a clean red/esb.

Niko100 (2980) - Chicago, New York, USA - JUN 26, 2015
Nice amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of biscuit malt, yeast, hops, & caramel; Flavor of toasted sweet malt, caramel, hops, and citrus; Finish is slightly bitter; Not too bad.

Sask89 (529) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAY 7, 2015
Pours a clear amber colour with an extremely creamy white head. Aroma is a little flat with some grainy notes, a bit like cereal. Taste is a little bitter but mostly imperceptible, not sweet, just nice. Ceamy mouth feel, light to medium body, and soft carbonation. Decent ESB overall.

maltman53 (472) - Corrales, New Mexico, USA - APR 23, 2015
Tap @ Brewery pours amber with little head retention. Slghtly earthy malt notes and hops. Overall, could use more structure and grip.

TattooJack (518) - Illinois, USA - OCT 10, 2014
Poured from the can into a pint glass, nice foamy reddish look in the glass smells sweet. Very easy drinking to the tune of about 10 minutes a beer. I like that it tastes English with a hop aftertaste. The can gets the recycle points, well done then.
