UPDATED: JUN 27, 2010 Crushed with Jakebra. Fuckin bgah! Nast and poop. Cool bottle. Not much else. Goldens usually suck, but this one takes the cake. Aight. Re-rate time. Out of a can too. Last one must have been old as hell. Nice, light beer. Session time. Light, crisp, hint of hops. Nice brew. Dug it much more this time.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a 2 finger fluffy snow white head that leaves chunky lacing. Nose is sweet grass and malt. Taste is light earthy hops, malt and corn syrup with a weird medicinal-like finish. Light and flat mouth feel. Not so good.

pours clear yellow with a lasting white ring of foam. some spotty lacing forms on the glass. faint aroma... pale grainy, straw, dried apricots and mild spiciness. it tastes the way wet bales of straw smell... with some yeasty notes and cooked lemon with a slightly spicy finish. medium body feels a bit ’dead’ on the tongue.

not a good one...5/3/4/2/8/2.2

On draft at Flagstaff Brewing, where the selections were somewhat underpar from the norm. The pour was bright golden with a small white head. The aroma was grainy with light fruity elements. The flavor followed, not much to dig here, although it was fairly easy to drink.

Yikes and double yikes, this is one of the very few drain pours for me, I will pass on this one.

Bottle. Golden pour with a voluminous white head. Light honey notes in the aroma along with soft fruit and sweet malts. Touch of graininess as well. Taste is sweet malts, honey, lemony tartness, floral hops and soft spice. Body is medium but firm with bubbly carbonation. Finishes with more sweet malts, honey, light lemon, some yeast, floral hops and a touch of spice.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2012 On draft at The Federal, Durham. Well I’d hoped this would prove sufficiently thirst-quenching on a very hot evening. It barely did even that. Looks like BMC on the pour, and it’s got almost nothing in the way of aroma - some light fruit perhaps. Body is average, carbonation medium. Other than a trace of pepper and the aforementioned fruit, this is really almost completely anonymous.

Aroma was light citrus fruity. Golden color and a small white head. Very malty and grainy with a citrus fruit quality to it. Some sweetness from the honey. Pretty light on the body. Very middle of the road beer with a lot to be desired.

The Dan Journal #168. Tasted 5/3/08. 22oz bomber. Filtered with a pale golden hue. Bubbled head. Grainy and peppery. Tangy and tart. Touch honey. Chalky. Light bodied. Sticky and dought. Meh...
