Loose bottle from Sam’s Wines, Downers Grove. Definitely the American brewpub style of blond ale. Pours a big rocky head. Yellow body, kind of hazy with lots of floaties. Crisp and kind of lemony, with that bit of honey peeking through. Basic noble hop component. A good beginner’s craft beer. Date notch says it was bottled in October, so it’s held up OK.
Hazed golden pour, with a white head. Grain, corn, and lightly floral. Light bodied, easy drinking. Ok. dogbomb (1217) - ENGLAND - JUL 7, 2017
Keg. Hazy gold. Very opaque. Thick white bubbles. Nose floral and a little soapy. Lavender notes. Taste is mango, pineapple. Not too heavy. There’s a little tangerine. Grape. fidemaster (322) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - JUN 21, 2017
Aroma is Honey, grass, and citrus. Has a nice golden color. starts of with honey, grass, malt, and cream. finishes with a little bit of spice and grass. Really creamy for a light beer. Very drinkable, shocked at the low rating on here. Nice Blonde Jabah (484) - Winter Park, Florida, USA - JUN 15, 2017
On clearance at Total Wine & More for $5/6-pack. Blondes are hit or miss for me, but came across a few good ones this spring so have been trying as many as I can. This is borderline, leans towards a miss. Found it drinkable and refreshing though. Flavor is mild and a little weak. Could use some more hops. Worth it for under a buck a beer, but wouldn’t get it again. Haslinger (929) - The World of Beer, Texas, USA - MAY 17, 2017
can from a SKA brewing mixpack, decent taste, nothing particularly memorable about this one. Wouldn’t buy again
