12 oz can. Pours a very dark down with a thick khaki head that recedes quickly. Smell is a medicinal mint followed by coffee and roasted malt. Flavor is spearmint throughout with notes of chocolate and coffee quietly popping though from behind the overcoat of mint. Medium to light body for a stout. Not a fan, too much mint to strike a reasonable balance for my taste.

12 oz can. Pours black with a very little khaki head that leaves almost no lacing. Aroma of mint (spearmint and peppermint), cocoa and chocolate. Taste is dominated and overwhelmed by peppermint and spearmint. Behind that is cocoa, dark chocolate, vanilla and dark fruit. Medium bodied, slightly thin texture, mild carbonation. Finish is cocoa and a bit of caramel, but is still dominated by the mints. Good but too strong on the mint. DrSilverworm (10000) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 30, 2014
12oz can, I think from Lukas Liquor. Best by 24/july/14. Black color. Thin brown head. Mostly loose bits of lace. Weird big sweet taste. Not much stout body to this, kind of thin. Vanilla, and mint. Mint flavor is very strange on this, and strong and obnoxious. Not at all well-blended, the beer doesn’t stand up to the huge quantity of mint in the flavor. Some chocolate. Thin and watery. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light body. Light slick finish. Disappointed with this one. Maybe the weakest mint stout I’ve tried yet.. Difficult to drink. Didn’t finish. Like others are saying, tasting less like Thin Mints / Andes and more like toothpaste. kbudd19 (1022) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 30, 2014
Can from Ben, thanks man! Thick black pour with lots of creamy slight tanned head. Aroma, whoa, lots of pepermint, chocolate, roasted malts, it’s after eight territory for sure. Taste is light rosted malts, slight peppermint, melded with vanilla and chocolate, with a light sweet finish. Cool brew. mR_fr0g (14241) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2014
Can from cotteridge wines, shared at the Siren Maiden launch CBC clerkenwell. Aroma is toothpaste, after eight, choc. Clear dark brown / ruby red coloured pour with a persistent cream coloured head. Flavour follows, spearmint, after eight, choc, but very sweet. For me the balance was not there at in this beer, there was a very weird mix of sickly sweet and mint / roast. Not a fan.

Pours dark black light fizzy beige head. Smell is roasty chocolate and noticeable peppermint. Taste is chocolate roast malt and peppermint kind of as in a York peppermint patty. Kind of thin body and a bit watery. Refreshing stout if that’s possible. Flavor is good but I wish it was a touch darker roasted and fuller body but still nice. Dark black. I laughed at the previous rater saying girl scout cookie in a glass. ....but that is exactly what it is....a thin mint. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - MAY 20, 2014
Girl Scout cookie in a glass ...and you know how bad thin mints suck. What else needs to be said. Mission accomplished.
