COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Slightly hazy amber, small offwhite head. Malty aroma, light hoppy notes. Malty flavour, rough piney bitterness. Harsh and slightly metallic.

50 cl [email protected] in straight [email protected] 6 degrees C. Present from Lotte. Pours amber/red with small off-white head with fair retention. Pleasant floral aroma with hay and grassy hops. Taste quite citrussy hoppy, but not extremely so. Medium carbonation and medium bodiet Mouth filling and well balanced with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Not extreme, but a nice IPA.

Sample at Food festival. Pretty average IPA but maybe with less off every flavour and aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copenhagen 6/9 2016. 50 cl bottle from Mad & Vin. Usual Skagen Bryghus design in red and with declarations that this beer should be poured with love. Pours (lovingly) hazy amber with yellowish head. Settles as very thin layer of foam. Aroma is quite bitter and sour. A lot of lemon, citrus and grapefruit. A little fermented fruit in the background. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is distinctly bitter with only subdued sweetness. Bitterness is lingering in aftertaste. I wouldn’t say I actually love this brew - but I like it.

nybol (2200) - DENMARK - MAR 13, 2016

Faller platt och blir urvattnad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

My expectations weren’t high as I never had heard of this beer before and usually Danish brewers use water that I don’t really like. This one is a surprising exception. Full of taste and well balanced bitterness.
