Bottle, bought @ the brewery.
Murky pale amber with a small, staying, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has caramel, red berries, light sugar. Medium carbonation, fine dryish mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, caramel, light sugar, a touch milky chocolate. Fine dryish malty bitterness. Simple.

En fin let maltet og en smule humlel. Den passer faktisk godt til en grillplse.

@Skagen Bryghus. Menu says Simcoe-hops, same on their homepage; not cascade. Perhaps a new entry: "Grillstarter 15"? Amber coloured and almost clear. Has a white head. Heavy hoppy, pine, grass. Heavy bitter and dry.

Copenhagen 3/6 2016. 50 cl bottle brought home from a Plant Outlet by my girlfriend. Strange place to pick up a beer. Sizzeling coal on the label to imply that this is indeed a Barbecue beer (Danes are very enthusiastic about barbecues). Pours slightly hazy yellow with big white head. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of creamy foam. Some lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma of sweet malts with a light citrus touch. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Taste is sweetish at first but more than balanced by distinct bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste. A fresh and nicely bitter beer that does what its supposed to.

Bottle. An unclear one, dark golden to amber in color, with a dense, finger-thick off-white head on top. The aroma is quite weak, with pale malts, caramel hints and a touch of citrusy hops. Its medium bodied and soft on the palate, with toffee hints, some yellow apples, and a decent bitterness. Short finish with caramel and bitterness. Not very balanced this one, and not very tasteful either. 150124
